Yeah, I would say Isak is better option than David. At least he would be dangerous on his own, has a bit of that Ronaldo/Henry flair. If that would mean selling Lautaro (because he can't be benched, apparently), so be it.

Would you be open to Isak-Dybala partnership? With Džeko, Sanchez and Correa as bench options? I have a feeling our wingbacks would score a lot of goals in that case :D
Even selling Lautaro wouldn't be enough. Sociedad are asking for 80-90m for Isak. We simply can't afford him. Also competition would be heavy as Barcelona are also linked with him in case they don't sign Haaland.

I also don't think it's possible to sign both Dybala and David, even with a Lautaro sale. David would cost at least 40m. Probably more. Dybala would come on a free but he would be on a huge salary. His cost would be massive. Only one of them can join and that's only if you find a buyer for Lautaro.

If we're thinking of selling De Vrij and Lautaro just to be able to afford Bremer, Scamacca, Frattesi and presumably Dybala, I don't think we can talk about an extra player. Going for another striker instead of Scamacca would require an additional sale. Or just simply not going for (or actually signing) Dybala.

How much can we save in wages if Sanchez, Vidal, Vecino and D'ambrosio leave this summer? In that case I predict we'll bring at least one older player that we will overpay and bring a player like Agoume but not even really use him.

Skriniar, Bastoni and Barella are probably the only 3 players that won't be sold no matter what. Correa and Džeko are unsellable because we won't get any offers for them. Hakan probably won't get these wages anywhere else.

Even tho I believe Brozović is super important to us, I can see Inter selling him to get some extra 30-40 mil to spend in the summer.

If there's a clause for Vidal and it's not just a team option*, then the sum isn't that great.
We'd save 3m on Sanchez assuming the 4m figure is taxable. 3m more on Vidal and slightly over 3.5m for D'Ambrosio. Vecino is 4.5m gross. So around 14-15m. And we're looking to cut costs, so not sure it allows us any room to breathe. At best, we could use 10m but I fear the amount would be closer to nothing.

*Vidal has an option for sure, but perhaps it's one that can be activated by either party, so the 4m figure probably is true. If it's not, then we save somewhere at 20m at best, but we'll need to fill 4 roster spots. We can assume that Vanheusden and Agoume can return and occupy backup roles, so we could split that between 2 players but we're not likely to reinvest the entire amount as we're seeking around 10% in salary budget cuts.

I am probably in the minority here but i would rather sign only David and go for a Lautaro-David attacking duo with Dzeko and Correa coming from the bench than sell Lautaro and sign Scamacca and Dybala.

Well it depends what kind of offer we would get for Lautaro. We should take any offer around 70 millions for him - whereas I doubt that anyone would pay that. In terms of David I don't really now that player, so I have to trust the experts here if he is worth the money.

On another note: I just read that Ajax has to sell Gravenberch in the summer because he will not renew his contract. In a perfect world we would have a saying in this, but sadly he is way out of our league.

Veretout obviously has some issues with Mourinho, and he is on his way out of Roma. If his price is acceptable (10-15mln), I wouldn't mind him. He can fill Brozo's spot and to play more advanced role too. He will be okish rotational 4-5 option.

What is the deal with Isak? His name keeps poping up but he's only scored 4 goals in La Liga this season?

Jonathan David, Lille forward.
Yeah, sure but do you find him good? I trust your opinion. I have a bad feeling about North American players.

Watch a game with him but I still don't think he would provide what we need or even take a step up. I'd say he is 1 step behind Kulusevski right now.

During his game with Sweden he had some crazy ballhandling skills. He couldn't drop the ball, like Adriano/Ronaldo kind of movement(big fucking exaggeration here but so you could understand why people are hyping him)
Bruh, everyone trolling me. How would I know there is a kid named David in Ligue 1. I'm too busy with Inter.

I consider him very promising with high potential. He's more of a secondary striker than a forward. He's fast, very good finisher, good off the ball movement, decent dribble and passing.

He reminds me off Correa position and ability wise with the pace.

I saw an Ajax fan on Twitter talking about that today. The general consensus on him is that he’s had a poor season. Apparently last year he was very motivated, this year he seems less so and that’s probably part the reason for his inconsistency.

However there was also mention of how this kid has been pretty good. Looks like an interesting prospect as a RCB.

Signing Ryan Gravenberch would defenitely reduce our dependency on brozovic and since he will only have 1 year left, he won't cost more than 30M. Would be a good signing.

Napoli have a 15m option for Anguissa but it's rumored they're asking for a discount from Fulham. We should try to hijack the deal. 15m for Anguissa is a steal.
