Im confused. Brozovic is valued at 3.3 mil??

It's accounting. It's a depreciated valuation.

It means you buy the player at Year 1 at 20m and by Year x his value on the books is reduced(depreciated) to 3m. Has nothing to do with the quality of a player or what his transfer value is. Icardi's is 3,7m there. It basically means that every penny over that amount = profit in the income statement.

i woulnd't sell him. i mean, maybe i'll regret writing this, but with a working brain i don't see a better midfielder in his role in italy. so if he's actually killed his evil half, let's just keep him.

In addition to the negotiations for the renewal of Icardi are also those for Skriniar, Miranda and Brozovic

Report - Sarri wants Inter defensive mastermind Giovanni Martusciello at Chelsea

gettyimages-812026730.jpg

Most of the credits of how Inter have incredibly improved its defense going from allowing 49 goals in 2016-2017 to just 30 this year go to Spalletti and Skriniar, the best central defender in Serie A and top five in Europe. However, there is one more person that works tirelessly behind the scenes and should be given the same amount of praise and credits, we are talking about defensive guru Giovanni Martusciello. He left Empoli in 2017 and joined Inter to become Spalletti’s technical collaborator with defensive expertise.

According to Calciomercato, Martusciello could join Maurizio Sarri (both worked together at Empoli) at Chelsea. Certainly it would be a huge loss for Spalletti and Inter as a whole.

Joao Mario's 2.7m, what a waste.
Valero should be earning 1m at most. Though if that was the cas ehe'd leave for Villarreal this summer.
Ranocchia should also be dropped to 1m.
Dalbert's 1.2m is a complete waste.
Vecino shouldn't be earning more than 2m.
Skriniar's salary should be at least doubled, to 3.4m.

That pretty much means a little over 5.5m saved, not including any transfer fees. I guess Icardi's new raise would suck some of that difference.
Fucking FFP, we cannot even offload someone like Mario for 15m and Dalbert for 8m.

I assume we also are covering for part of Barbosa's salary?

Vidal and Sanchez wages are fking criminal.... especially for Sanchez 5-10 minute appearances

Kolarov as well at 3. Same as fking Skriniar !!

Next season
Kolarov and Youngs contract expire that is 6 million saved

Hopefully these cancers leave
Perisic - 5
Ninja - 4.5
Eriksen - 7.5
Vecino - 2.5

Total 19.5 million on bench or worst that don't even get called up + 6 million on retiring players = 25 million

Sadly 2 years more of Aleix Sanchez at 6.5 will end up with a golden handshake.

While that is alot of money to save Conte's going to ask for another retired player or 2 on insane wages.

Bastoni, Lautaro, Skriniar, De Vrij and Barella all need contract extensions + raises

This spreadsheet details the estimated player costs for Inter, including amortization, wage gross, capital gains, and more.
The data used here is based on Calcio e Finanza's data source and will be updated accordingly.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you see an inappropriate amount.

● Players with colored backgrounds are at the club
● New player in bold
AT = Home Grown Status. Associate Trained or trained in countries
CT = Home Grown Status. Club trained.
Ctr = Remaining Contract
Mo. = Contract remaining; this will automatically update each month and alter the player's Net Book Value.
GD = Growth Decree Tax Percentage used by Calcio e Finanza
% = Players' wage net percentage compared to last season. The difference in the new contract.
%TC = Player Annual cost percentage from total cost (including players out on loan)

We've had this thread stickied to the top of the players sub-forum for almost a decade, but no posts in over a year. Maybe we can leverage this as a place for @pier to post updates.

Compared to last season, How much have we reduced out salary expenses?

Also how does this translate to the new ffp rule where we need to spend 90% Of the club’s income? I think last season we were over our income by 35%.
