A lovely gesture from Napoli winger Dries Mertens, who ‘married’ a seriously ill young fan named Aurora.

The Belgium international posted a video of the couple walking down the aisle of a hospital wing as he hummed the wedding march.

“Unfortunately I am already married, but you are a marvellous girl!” wrote Mertens on Instagram.

“It was a pleasure meeting you! #ForzaAurora”
