Pre-retreat: Ventola and Rebecchi are back!

Nicola Ventola and Mario Rebecchi are back from their loans at Siena and Genoa .

They are in the squad list of Inter.it and will take part in the retreat tomorrow with the rest of the players that didn't play in the euro .

I'd like to see Ventola staying and Kallon leaving .
And I'd like to see Rebecchi as a back-up for Cesar and Kily leaving ,
we gave up Ryan Giggs for him ! he was amazing in the pre-season matches .

Where is Eliakwu?? He use to be on the squad list but now he is gone?? I guess he is truly going to Lazio then.

Anywayz on Ventonla, if we are gonna keep him then we are definately over-crowded in the striker department with us having 7 strikers. We would have to drop like 2 of them to be well off with 5.

Perhaps Kallon on loan and we sell Vieri? That would leave us with:

Recoba
Martins
Cruz
Ventola

Thats a good lineup but it seems sorta weak?

I would rather us sell Vieri and Cruz, loan out Kallon, and buy Chevanton (since we were linked with him...) leaving us with

Don’t get excited guys ….

Not only Ventola, Biava, Rebecchi; but also Lamouchi, Farinos will be in the retreat. But that’s normal. This could be coz of 2 good reasons :

(1) Mancini wants to see them before making the final decision.

(2) Inter has’t yet found the right clubs for them (offer). Like Biava and Rebeechi are rumoured to move to Lazio.

Having Biava, Rebecchi in our squad for the new season wud be great !! It wud be dream come true ... I haven't seen them, but keeping youngsters at this period of their age wud be great .... they wud learn alot from the star and experienced players we have. And if we get rid of Lamouchi and Farinos, it wud be more better for them. I wonder where BEATI is ??

But ofcourse, I wudn't mind our youth players in Inter only if we don't bring other players who wud not help them to get even some chances.

Ventola - Jimmy is right on him. But I wouldn't mind Ventola in Inter, if he agrees to be the 4th/5th striker.

Obviously Inter treats all the player as part of the squad. If they didn't it would be like be holding a sign saying: WE DON'T WANT THIS PLAYER, and it would be much harder to sell them at a competitive price.

What? Isn't Ventola being interrogated or something? I believe he is innocent but we need to wait for official clarification before adding him. There is always the 0.1% chance that he was involved in the game-fixing scandal.

That interrogation thing was a while back during the season so if something was going to come out of it then it probably would have already.

I guess Kallon is better than Ventola. And may be it's time for Ventola to end his Inter career ... ???

But I would love to have him in Inter ...... He's been an Inter player since years and we rerely have inter players who have been with us for such a long time.

Tim's favourite player. Well, I don't mind Nicola staying in Inter to be a backup. But I think we should only keep one of Ventola or Kallon since we don't wanna have a problem of a surplus of strikers. What could be a problem is Ventola's wage. I don't think it is that low since when he was signed (From Bari, I think), he was a rising star and we must be paying him a quite big amount. And, I wonder when does his contract expires since he has been here since 98/99!!!

I have 3 guesses:

1) Rebecchi has already been off-loaded to Lazio for Mancini.
2) Rebecchi is injured.
3) Rebecchi is regarded as a useless player.

Since his name is still in the squad list in inter.it, I think the (2) and (3) situations are more likely.

They have published the first pictures today, and I couldn´t help but notice one player that hasn´t been listed. I think I saw Alessandro Potenza running behind Bisciotti and next to Cambiasso.
