It's hard to improve on how you want your team to be on the pitch when you face nothing but serie d and c feeders

I agree. Take last summer friendlies for example. We had only faced Serie B and serie C teams, Conte experimented with 3-4-1-2 and Bastoni in the middle of back 3 and everything looked amazing. But in the first match of the season we realized this was far from the reality. You need competitive friendlies to see where you stand as a team.

At this point of the preseason, it really doesn't matter who we are playing against. They are just getting back to fitness at this point, some tactical things are at the table for sure but nothing serious which would require some real opponents.

Maybe in two weeks serious opponents makes more sense or makes some difference. Serie A starts in 4 weeks.

Last time we did that, the stream literally got taken down for copyright infringement. The perfect metaphor for the club’s current situation.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the actual video content, I remember previous years, there was day to day training videos, inter tv was running full steam, we had recap of every day, now it just feels so bare-boned, with zero enthusiasm. Don't know if it's coz of covid, or we really decided to save money on all of this.

Also, our long term photographer claudio villa is no longer with the team for whatever reason.

Do you follow Claudio, he have been busy taking pictures of Italia NT.

Why did the club first schedule only to pull out from the cup in USA?

COVID cases started to rise in Florida. Also Arsenal pulled out first (because there were COVID cases in their team/camp). Apparently that tournament will be next summer also and we decided with the organizers to be there next summer (to avoid cancellation fee).
