Liked the first half play a lot, if Sanchez and Eriksen can stay healthy and get back respectively ,we maybe in the hunt. Dzeko looked good in the first half and was rested cause we will need him against Genoa. The lack of depth on defense and in the midfield is still worrisome IMHO.

Where is RG5? He isn't in the bench. I hope Inter already sold him

I been waiting my whole life to see inter play some sexy football.
I really hope this is the way we keep playing.
I have never seen us score a goal like the first one.

I must say the attacking play was really good. The defensive not so much. Kiiv's attacking players are bad and therefore we didn't get punished.

Its a bit dangerous game if we play against top team in serie-a. But what do I know, probably this type of play is gonna work in CL games

Good that you are not our coach then. :)

Of course these late friendlies are important. And what we can take away from this match is are are ready for the season. Injuries are not optimal but at least we have a proper striker now. The defending might be in an issue if we keep pushing players to the attack like we did today.

It’s not that being impressive in friendlies is a bad thing it’s just that being good doesn’t necessarily mean anything either.

It’s just a chance to take a look at some of the fringe players:

- Satriano has looked good
- Dimarco has looked good

This is basically what I choose to think about. Likewise:

- Pinamonti doesn't look like inter material
- Nor does Salcedo
- Dzeko has literally had 0 time training with the team

What I'll say is that it does at least look like the boys who stayed are up for it. And Inzaghi seems to be working hard. No reason to get emotional about the results.

I will take away from this friendly what I take from all the others— absolutely nothing.
I’ll only take away nothing if it’s a piss poor game. This wasn’t. I’ll take away we attacked well and played some pretty football even though it’s a friendly . Maybe not having Lukaku brings motivation to the squad this season to repeat

Well, in my opinion, most of the seria a teams are pretty much on that level more or less.
I really enjoyed to watch our football, so much diversity and combinations in our attacking play, it was so damn fun to watch, well at least until vecino and vidal sub in, but still we keep played kinda ok, the sad thing of this game is pinamonti, this guy is so averge or even below, he can run fast and keep the ball with his back, but his finishing and passing abilitys are soooo bad, he cant fininsh 1v1 and he cant pass when he have clear path...

Dzeko is not bad, has speed, I was surprised to be honest, I thought it would be much worse.
Dynamo liked Ilya Zabarnyi

Pinamonti finishing is good to be fair. He hit the bar once, some difficult one-touch volleys carried out excellently yesterday.
Everything else is bad though. Decision-making, speed, techniques, strength...are of Serie C level.
I would say he is a China-version of Icardi. Painful to watch.

Is that possible without the miraculous work of Pintus?

Personally I was really hoping we wouldn't renew D'Ambrosio (let alone fucking Kolarov) and instead get some fresh blood into the squad. But this dipshit management renewed them both, presumably because paying an additional year of their salaries is cheaper than purchasing a replacement, even a cheap one.
This. Squad depth in defence always was a huge issue last season and it's going to be even worse with the players being one year older. And yet we "chose" to extend D'Ambrosio, Ranocchia and Kolarov instead of signing a new cb.

And it wasn't due to lack of options.

Maksimovic and Boateng are still free agents. Barcelona are desperate to offload Umtiti who would be an interesting gamble and certainly better than Kolarov. Milenkovic is available at a low cost. But we are so skint that we had to offer an extension even to freaking Kolarov because we couldn't afford signing anyone better. Now we can only pray our starting cbs will remain injury free throughout the season else we're screwed.

If our defence remains injury free, Inzaghi finds the right balance between defence-offensive + we play like we did yesterday, then everything can happen, even scudetto or at least second place. Our squad is still really good in my oppinion. Specialy our defensive trio. As long we don't lose one of the three of course. Imagine if we had lost Skriniar instead of Lukaku, you get 70-90M but can only use (probably) 40-50M to get a replacement... getting a good CB is generelly not easy, with or without money.

But back to my point. I think it also depends on what Juve will doo. Yesterday i watched Juve - Atalanta friendly game, they have a really amazing forward this year. While the defence looks still weak, specialy when Chiellini is missing. Allegri anyway already knows this team, he's for sure a really experienced coach. We will see if this team get's back to wining every game like it was 2 years ago.
