A sneak (and definitely not comprehensive) preview of our Primavera this coming season. Please note I will NOT take into any extensive/exhaustive account of our new signings.

I would expect Smug to be the main keeper, with Ivusic as the backup - though Ivusic is very highly rated so dont be surprised if he takes over at some point.

Paramatti has already played for the Primavera at LB, so expect to see this continuing next season

Isaac Donkor is already "underage" for the youth team, so he will be a starring CB for next year I think.

Further afoot Leonardo Longo - on loan but will almost certainly be signed - has not made much impact on the Primavera this year, but he has featured quite a lot for the Berretti, so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he was the starting CB alongside Donkor.

RB is less clear to me, perhaps someone like Eguelfi will step up to the plate if not sold, or Di Stefano? Time will tell on that one.

In midfield it seems much more clear. Olsen, Pasa, Acampora should all be leaving on loans, so it leaves space for Tassi, Mira, and Cannataro to make it for themselves. Expect Tassi to line up with Cannataro, and Mira ahead of them. A contender we should be careful to be dismissive of is Jesus Valeriano as well - he's been called up for the Primavera a few times towards the end of the season and I think he will almost certainly be featuring regularly. One should also make a note of Riccardo Palmieri - who has had some Primavera time too.

Upfront is a little less clear, too. Forte, Garritano, Colombi and Belloni will almost definitely be going out on loan. The rumour at the moment has it that Djumo will be staying - given his disappointing season last year - and Tommasone is one of the '95 class Primavera players now who will be expected to form next year's backbone. Further afoot, Bigotto, Guidala, and Ogunseye are the biggest prospects in the Beretti - though Guidala (Who was once called the "next Balotelli" by Mino Raiola) is coming off the back of a disappointing season compared to his two colleagues.

I also expect to see major contributions from Businaro - a CB who has been called up for Primavera - Francis Boateng, Bretolino and Giordano, naively.

The picture will be a bit clearer once we've had our new signings in and assigned to their respective positions as well - don't forget we have a swathe of players in this sort of category out on loan as well - which (like Longo) will be looking to make an impact.

From a playing side, its a bit less clear. With Sergio Zanetti (almost certainly) coming in to replace Bernazzini, I would expect to see a staying to the 4-2-3-1 - but apparently Mazzarri wants to insist on imposing the 3-5-2 on the youth team

I was looking only at the berreti

But you raise an interesting point

Of them I would say Dimarco and Bonazzoli would be the best for going to the Primavera - but unless they are guaranteed to start in the Primavera, I would say they are better playing as much as possible in the Beretti.

I dont think there will be much space in midfield, though, so I wouldnt be too hopeful for Palazzi. I think it is easier to imagine space for Dimarco, Sciacca

Alot of it is pretty straight forward. For example, anyone who is a "year young" in the Primavera is almost definitely groomed to be a star in next years Primavera (Benassi, Bessa, Bandini, MBaye, Pasa are all recent examples of this)

I also follow all the news where possible, and keep track of who is being promoted up the ranks.

Bonazzoli is a great example - I believe he's the only player U-17 this season who was promoted "twice" - e.g. two years up. See here: http://forzainterforums.com/showthread.php?10996-2011-2012-gt-2012-2013-Youth-Team-Squad-Changes

Also just keep track of how people do - for example Bonazzoli playing a lot in Italy U-17, as well as Dimarco (etc) - who are all stars in teams two years older than themselves.

Its easy to find the information, its all out there ;)
