Cagliari have shown an interested in bringing Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano to Sardinia from Inter, Italian media are reporting.

Italian news outlet CalcioMercato report that the 20-year-old was close to joining the Rossoblu before choosing Inter, and the club still retain an interest in acquiring his services.

Cagliari are preparing an offer for €5 million plus bonuses to sign the youngster from Inter. The club have also shown an interest in 18-year-old Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei, although in this case it is thought that Inter are unlikely to sell the player as they value him highly and are intending to monitor his progress.

Cagliari and Inter are currently involved in numerous negotiations over the transfer of players between clubs, including Nerazzurri midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez. However, any sale of the Inter youngers is unlikely to be a part of any deal for Uruguayan midfielder Nandez, and would rather be a cash-only deal.

FYI: Inter payed €2.4m for Martín in January 2020, he scored 11 goals in 25 Primavera matches.

Inter could be about to bring in €7 million from the sale of on-loan goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, according to a report in the Italian media.

Di Gregorio joined Serie B club Monza on a season-long loan last summer, where he has since kept 11 clean sheets in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Calciomercato.com said Inter would discuss the 23-year-old’s future at the end of the season, but Di Gregorio could join Cristian Brocchi’s side permanently for the above fee.

The Nerazzurri would want to keep a buy-back option for the Italian if they decided to let him go. Inter’s summer transfer plans will be hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic like all clubs, meaning they need to collect as much money as possible from player sales.

Galliani came begging to Inter HQ, asking for loans of Pirola and Di Gregorio to be extended.

Inter academy goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio looks set to remain on loan at Monza, with an obligation to buy inserted in his contract in the event that Monza are promoted to Serie A next season.

GdS reported this as a done deal.

Di Gregorio, aged 23, will hope to replicate his form from last season where he was first choice at Monza as the club narrowly missed out on promotion to Serie A.

So it's the same clause as last season. Monza was close but didn't manage to make it.

I've understood Pirola is also heading back on loan to Monza.

" Michele Di Gregorio is again a Monza player". This is the official announcement of the red and white club, which also publishes the usual photo of the player flanked by Adriano Galliani on its website.

"The goalkeeper was acquired by Inter on a temporary annual basis, with the right of option, counter-benefit and obligation to redeem if certain conditions are met. Last season Di Gregorio made 31 appearances with the red and white, including 29 in the Serie B championship where Monza was the team with the best defense. Welcome back Michele!".

Shamrock Rovers Irish wonderkid Kevin Zefi is set to sign a three year deal with Inter in the next few weeks, SempreInter.Com can reveal.

Kevin-Zefi-01-1177x768.jpg

The 15-year old Irish left winger, who last September became the youngest ever goalscorer in the League Of Ireland, has been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri for quite some time, but a move was slowed down due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Several reports have since claimed that an agreement regarding a transfer has been found, but this denied in January by Zefi’s friend and advisor, former Irish international Stephen Carr, when speaking exclusively with SempreInter.com back in January of this year.

Any issues have now since been resolved and Zefi is set to fly out to Milan over the next couple of weeks to undergo his medical examination before putting pen to paper on a three year deal.

Zefi is considered one of the biggest talents around in Europe with Manchester City, Manchester United as well as PSV Eindhoven also in the past having vied for his signature.

He sure can skip past other fourteen-year-olds.

On another note, I can’t fucking stand when player compilations show them dribbling past three players and not showing the (disastrous) aftermath.

FCInter1908: Inter have rejected two formal transfer bids for Lorenzo Pirola coming from Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk

High probability that Pirola will move back to AC Monza on loan for a second season in Serie B where the club will be hoping to better their achievement of reaching the Serie B play-off semi-final.

Sassuolo have made a bid of €4 million that was turned down by Inter and then the Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk upped it to €6 million but that still was not enough for Inter.

Simone Inzaghi wants to evaluate the player during Inter’s pre-season matches and training sessions and decide whether he could form part of the squad this season or be loaned out.

> As far as I know, our club has reached agreement with Monza already.
