PSG with Fabian, Neves, Vitinha and also Zaire-Emery will try to impose their game and control the ball. The main difference is how quickly they move it forward and find spaces.
Raphinha performed some great through balls, most of which succeeded, but as phenomenal as Yamal is, he's a ball stopper and tries to take on defenders. PSG has four of those and none of them will think to go for the through ball before dribbling. Kvaratschelia, Dembele, Doue and Barcola, they'll all try to be fancy. Kvara will probably have to rethink that strategy if it won't work, but the rest, that's just how they operate.
The French league is dirty and tough, so their midfielders are accustomed to tough play, so even if we try to outmuscle them, they'll manage well. As I said earlier, it all depends on how much space we're going to leave them. I'd rather we let them camp outside our box than allow them to play closer to the middle of the pitch. Keep our defensive line as low as possible, but getting counters out wide will be trickier because all their defense is pacey as fuck.
If we manage to get a bunch of set pieces, we can make them pay. But at the same time, we'll need to be wary at the back since we all saw that Barcelona carved us wide open on several occasions whilst we were attacking.
Let's just hope Inzaghi has the full team to pick from. The rest will follow.
And I wouldn't underestimate Luis Enrique. The guy obviously manages to transmit a football identity to his teams, and we saw that with the Spanish NT and PSG now. And like Guardiola, he also is a former Triplete winner, and like Guardiola he also has some Serie A experience (with Roma, too), in his case as a manager, so he's not some random dude that manages a very expensive side. Don't underestimate him. He has enough time to think of how to play and he's not as stubborn as Flick to go all out and jeopardize his chances to win for some odd ideology.
