How is Dax's prediction so on point? Is everyone just reading the first sentence of posts and then assumes he has the full picture?

Sensi was nowhere near our best player. He was amongst the top 3 for a couple of months, but that was it.
And Sanchez wasn't anywhere close to a disappointment, if anything he's amongst the best performers over the entire season despite being injured as well.

And Barella has been a barometer for our results, hardly a 'won't get to shine" situation. While there was no "bashing" from the media towards Conte, in fact it's the other way around. Conte has a podium to say nonsense and whine while the media has hardly attacked him or gave him trouble. If anything, even Inter's media said NOTHING when the fucker dismissed our 2006 Scudetto!

Either way, given how much was at stake for 2nd to 4th place in the final game I don't think there's much relevance here.

Next time the format should include things like:
- How many points for Inter
- Where will our attack/defense rank
- Who will start unreasonably too many games (ie Gagliardini post-covid)
- Who will be benched for an unreasonable amount of games (ie Eriksen post-January)
- What will be our weakness (ie 3 man defense not working, strikers not converting, lack of chance creation, leaking chances from wide/middle etc)

Also, half of these predictions were made before the window was finalized, before the CL draw was made and the other half had a clear picture. I know it's just for fun, but if you want to treat all of them as equal, you need to enforce some time limits.

I think youre taking this way too seriously. If the forum would prefer to have a super serious prediction thing then we can do but my intention was just to try to lock some people to actual predictions because many people sit here and shit over each others opinions and tak about how disappointed they are etc. Having some predictions before the season kicks off is a nice way to set that into stone.

I'm not taking it seriously, I'm just saying how this could be enhanced. It's just for fun after all.

But what I do want to ask is how Dax's prediction is on point, seeing that I don't see how he got more than 3/5 things right.

I mean, is there a consensus "best player" and "biggest disappointment"?

Many have put Lazaro in the second category. Are you actually disappointed by him? I had no expectations of him and his path is exactly how I expected it to be. A big waste of money that would get JoaoMarioed sooner rather than later.

For me the best players have been Handanovic and De Vrij with Barella being the only legitimate player challenging for 3rd place for example. Maybe end of the season we make a couple of polls and see what FIF decides on top 3 best players and top 3 disappointments.

The biggest disappointment is by far Skriniar, something that was expected in a 3 man defense. Godin may also qualify as a disappointment I suppose. A good shout I've seen mentioned was Asamoah but it's hardly his fault that he's not been utilized.

Seems rather sad we sign a new striker who scores 30ngoals in his first season and he can't even get a pat on the back. I'm not saying he IS out best player but does deserve to be discussed.

He's done better than expected in terms of goals scored, but he's not been amongst our top performers. He's had like 5 games where he was great and coincidentally (or not) it was games where he had scored quite early in the game, but the rest were mostly below average, combined with terrible positioning, missing sitters left and right, messing up the build up, costing us more games than he's won us actually when you check back and generally showing a complete lack of effort, especially in pressing or when he doesn't feel he's going to be able to participate in a chance. Based on the chances he's had, his goal tally doesn't seem that impressive. It'd be impressive if this was done last season with us having like 0.5 real chances a game

That being said, he has contributed a lot this season and he deserves a shout if we're making a top 5 list, but he's nowhere near the best of the season.
