We have 2 players in this team we were just stupid enough to sell them too early. Jeez, u need to read some more about Inter's history.
Some of inter legends were capitans for the Azzuri, some scored in a world cup final.. one was the goal leader for over 20 years, and yet he still has only 2 goals less than the current goal leader.

Btw, this game just shows how useful players like Park are. In 2009-10 when we played Milan, Park was marking Pirlo and he didn't give even an inch of space, his work rate was top class and it was one of his best performance. Shame England didn't have anyone to mark Pirlo, he had way too much space and time to dictate the game.

Parker was pretty pretty much anonymous, no answers to Pirlo or Montolivo. Their strikers didn't do anything at all. But another reason was the shockingly bad stamina by England. They just couldn't run anymore, see Gerrard having cramps around 60th - 70th min.

That's what happens when you rely on players who are not tactically bright and have to sprint back to cover up the positional fuck up. Parker and Gerrard both are 32 or almost 32 did this whole Euros, so it was not surprising to see them completely exhausted chasing Pirlo's shawdow. They didn't have player who was tactically very disciplined and a player who knows how to cover ground rather than just covering every blade of grass for the sake of it.

To an extent yes, he is 34 and I dont think he will get anymore chances.

More than Lampard, I think they missed players like Carrick and Wilshere and I dont think I would be wrong in saying even Huddlestone.

Anyways for England tactics to work they need Drogba. What a player he was. England do have some tall players who think they are target man, but they are not fit to lace Drogba boots.
