Some of yall said this Spain side is too young, age ain't that important if you play like this.

Also Rodri one of the rare good City players this tournament. Makes me think that Pep is actually doing something good.

This is a test for both teams. Germany will not let Spain dictate like Italy/Georgia games and likewise Spain will not allow Germany to establish a rythm. I think they've both played ok teams so far, Germany's had some tough customers like Switzerland and Denmark while Spain's opponents have been poor and Spain ultimately having their way.

Overall Germany imo has played the more compact teams. Spain's opponents, have been subpar. I know Georgia defended well and had that goal, but We all knew Spain was going to have high possession and get like 4 goals. Italy and Croatia were not up to the task and Spain deservedly took those 6 points.

I've seen some Spanish people mention that in their view Spain isn't that good as people make them out. They have youth yes, but Rodri is their only real star and that some aren't convinced of their attacking capabilities and that they haven't really played top opposition so far this comp. Yes they have 9 goals so far but still. Again, what I've seen some spaniards say. Of course there are those that feel confident about their chances, which I think is justified too.

I've heard similar views from some Germans.

I think Spain will win today, maybe 1-0 idk We'll see. It will be close but I think they will most likely get the result.

I was hoping to be able to get to a German place today to watch this game, maybe I still can. Would be fun.

Indeed

Can’t lie, I am chuffed to see this Spain attack but in particular Lamine. We’ll be hearing his name even more for many years to come I’m sure but matches like this tend to be memorable in a player’s career - even for one so young. Tandem with Nico has the feel of something synergistic that continues to develop into one dazzling display after another. Plus, Germany have great youth in Musiala & Wirtz that inspire with their play & ability to deliver irrespective of the pressure/occasion

I hope it lives up to the hype because I expect a special one

A player picking up 2 yellows across 5 matches and being suspended for the semifinal as a result is fucking dumb

English ref, losing control of the match, but of course.
For some reason, this reminded me of a recent video I watched of Big Ange carrying on about the VAR

Spain not that impressive anymore with a real opponent, only 44% possession, even.
