Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a little different treatment for other teams supporters?

Like... How about putting our teams badge next to the country flag, instead of Inter jersey? (You can set a 1000 posts limit for the badge)
Or, how about letting us use our own jersey colors?

I don't mind Besktas but would never tolerate the Bilan/juve or other badges around. So lets not do this.

Well, as rocky mentioned above, I wouldn't mind for Besiktas shirt, but not a chance in hell for Juve/Milan/Barca.

Well, I can't say what you guys should do, but I can say, that in milan and juve forums I'm at (in Poland), every user has interista/juventino/milanista badge at the top of the avatar, and I like it. It kinda tells from the get go, who is who, friendly or...

ps. If you guys decide to do it though, use more than 100 posts limit. That way, if it was troll, he will be long banned. Maybe 250, or 500.

Also which clubs would you make an icon for, all of them? Or only ones for users who are already here? Would take up a lot of forum bandwidth to have images of all clubs (which in all likelihood most of them would never have support here). If you did do it I would suggest only make the icons at each user's request. But still I think this forum is small enough where it's pretty easy to tell (and remember) who supports which club.

Why not just use a combination of Avatars and Usernames to find out their team. Pretty much every non-interista here has something to do with their club as an avatar. No need for change.

I think the point of having an avatar is to put anything you want there. We don't have restrictions so if you want to put a Milan flag or Barca picture the avatar is enough to show which team you're supporting. I don't think it's worth the effort to complicate things further and perks like this should be kept for inter fans.

Can you tell me the reason why images for our signatures are prohibited? I know that images will make page's opening harder but the site will look better. Just put a limit to the image size and everything will be OK

We have discussed this before. We consider it messy and the loading times much slower. An avatar is enough imho.

Mr. Serious has spoken. And rightfully so. Even if the loading time is less, it looks too messy and we have to scroll down a lot with that.

With regards to images in signatures, I think in this day and age, speed and loading time is not much an issue anymore. Even in such a 3rd world country like Indonesia, I have little problem in browsing forums that allows so. It will be a different story if you try to browse the forum through a mobile device though.

But that was not the biggest reason why we have always rejected the idea. It is because images in signatures is messy, redundant and unnecessary. It will look unprofessional and also just makes member scroll much more than necessary.

If the image is short in height then there is no problem imo, just set some limits to the image dimensions :flirt:
