Why can you have 10 different quotes in your signature? If I remember correct before the update we had like maximum of 2 quotes in it. The signature is waaaay too long now

Anyone knows can i upload a GIF-image as my avatar? @Universe used to have one with AC Milan handball iirc. I've tried to upload GIF with Skriniar from the away game in Rome, but it appears frozen (simple image), not as a GIF.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it has to do with the file size. I remember my GIF avatar was also showing as a still image until I resized it by reducing image quality to meet the max file size.

Try uploading your gif here and reducing the dimensions and quality until it meets the max file size for a FIF avatar (not sure what that is, check your settings)

Agree. There's no option to limit the number of quotes or whatever, so I just now put in an update to limit it by height regardless of content.

Short answer is it won't work. XF re-sizes and stores avatars in multiple sizes for use in different templates and when it does this it saves them as jpgs. There are alternate processing libraries but they're not installed by default and would require rebuilding some stuff and honestly i'm not going through the hassle just to enable animated avatars

Question about the moderation of vaccine content.

I may be misreading, but it seems in the CL thread that someone was reprimanded for defending the vaccine, but it's unclear whether the person who called started the discussion by attacking the vaccine was also reprimanded? If so great, if not, I think it'd be only fair for both sides not to be able to speak their mind on the topic.

I have my own very strong opinions on the topic and have avoided commenting at all on the topic out of respect for the rules, I just wanted to ask if those rules are for both sides of the argument.

Yeah, it's a fair question. There are two or three members who routinely spout anti-vaxx nonsense, unsolicited. We can have a discussion and determine what the appropriate way to handle that is.

Re: the person who was reprimanded; he insulted an entire country. Standard infraction-level stuff there, even if it was done tongue in cheek.

Not sure if this was done previously or not, I think the site should introduce it's own awards such as player of the month, goal of the month, moment of the month etc. And why not maybe make a graphic design for each award and it can be sent over to our players on social media as token of appreciation for their performances.

I think the checkbox really needs an improvement. Currently, it's barely visible. Applying an accent color might do it.

What is the image upload size limit? Or can we not upload gifs? I was trying to post a GIF but it kept saying the file size was too large, even though it was only 1.1mb

The default xenforo attachment limit is 1MB, I updated to 2MB which is the php default max. It can be increased if there's a need.

I haven't noticed any performance issues on my end

edit: @Universe the one thing that i have noticed that has seemed a bit slower is occasionally twitter posts take a while to load, not sure if that's related to what you're talking about. that could be something with the twitter api, not sure. there is a minor version update that i'll apply at some point, maybe that will speed things up.

Since we got plenty of tweeter posts, it might be a good idea to have a dark theme embedded tweet, at least for the FIF dark style.

No, we're not adding any additional themes. There's so much custom css/php/javascript/etc involved that it's far more trouble than its worth
