Who knows what degree of truth there is to all this, if any. The reports suggest Conte doesn't even so much as want to see Icardi or Nainggolan's faces, much less evaluate them at preseason.

Despite Icardi being a fucking idiot and Nainggolan having his own issues, in terms of concrete ability, these are easily two of the best players in our team if not the league.

If the reports are accurate, and Conte eventually gets his way, the onus on him to deliver, big time, is massively increased.

I mean, fuck. Imagine going out of our way to sell two of our best and most valuable players in Nainggolan and Icardi, bringing the likes of Dzeko, Sensi and Lazaro only to finish 4th or lower. That would be a fucking unmitigated disaster.

Yes but Guardiola was wrong about Eto who stayed and made them win and maybe even Ronaldinhio who had another season.Also we are nowhere close to Barca star power and purchasing power.

All of our midfielders (Brozo to the lesser extent) and people like Politano are totally average, so you can't push out Icardi,Perisic and Nainggolan without getting similar-skilled players. And I don't find Lukaku or Sensi similar-skilled.
