Half the time he played as RWB last season. The other half as CM. Even a few games as LWB.

I think we’ll probably make a pass at Florenzi eventually. Nandez is probably most comfortable at mezzala but could also provide cover out wide.

Depends what sort of deal can be struck. He’s no 35 mil player.

I nearly dislike Cagliari (Naingollan) as much as I dislike Sporting Lisbon (Mario).

If we send Agoume to Cagliari, i hope we insert a buyback clause. The kid is talented.
Surely, our management sees this and is not so idiotic as to deal Agoume away.

Would be great to include Radja in the deal for Nandez but it seems that`s just speculation from journalists. Why would Cagliari pay for someone that they can get for free? Was same for Godin and it`s same for Dalbert.

Inter have agreed to pay midfielder Radja Nainggolan a severance payment to facilitate the 33-year-old’s move to Cagliari.

Calciomercato.com report that the Nerazzurri have offered the Belgian a payment of €1 million to terminate his contract in preparation for a move although the player has demanded €1.5 million. :ninja:

The deal has not yet been completed despite several weeks of negotiations, with the player’s demand for severance pay from the Nerazzurri thought to be the most significant hurdle.

Should the player accept Inter’s offer, there should be no remaining obstacles, and he will sign for Cagliari who have offered him a two-year deal with the option of a third season.

well, last season we paid his amortisation AND like 50% of his salary, so at least in some ways this is a bit of a saving I guess...

I accept giving Agoume away if it means we can see money coming back for Nainggolan if that Nainggolan + Agoume <> Nandez swap happens. Of course I'd want buyback clause for Agoume.

Like Agoume 10m€ + Nainggolan 10m€ for Nandez 20m€. 36m€ release clause means nothing, no one is going to pay that this summer.

It seems that our transfer market strategy is LOAN + option to buy (yes, we`re back there again).

So expect Nandez to be coming in with that formula.

I feel that every time we have such a "Surely they are not so idiotic" expectations, they go with "Hold my bear..." :D
Indeed. After all these years we should know that by now.

This is one of the most vivid exemples of homerist, I ever saw.
Cagliari would give a good (not spectacular) player for an old drunk fucker with no value and a kid who in 2 years showed nothing. C'mon

That's the thing with kids and these small clubs. They can take that risk with the young promising players. Possibility for big profits later. Nainggolan is still a useful player for Cagliari, like he was last season. A leading figure and a starting player.

But apparently Agoume won't be part of this deal.

How many "young promising players" sold Cagliari for "big profits later" in the last decade? Except N9 to Roma and Barella, I don't know any. I may be wrong, but I don't have the patience to google it. In theory you are right, but the reality is a bit different. And this is not only about Cagliari. The majority of Serie A teams are like this. Only a few succeed in picking and developing the "right" kids: Atalanta, Fiorentina, Sasuollo and maybe the best of them Sampdoria. Sadly Fererro ia douchebag, because their scouting department is top. I would love to have their guy at Inter.
