Apparently Cagliari has set 12 july deadline to sign Nainggolan. After that, they wont go for him.

Interesting, they dont pay any fee. They expect Inter to pay mutual fee to nainggolan to cover low salary theu can afford for the player. Now they also set deadline. I'd say fuck off Cagliari. Better we keep him even jusy for the bench. Or better we give nainggolan to club that is true rival of cagliari, if there is any

Cagliari's rivals are Palermo, but they're in Serie C

According to La Nuova Sardegna (i have no idea how reliable this is) Inter will pay the severance pay and save around 5M on this deal. Nainggolan should then sign a new 2 year contract with Cagliari.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport:

In addition to getting the player’s substantial wages off their balance sheet, it is also reported that Inter should receive compensation of €1 million from the Sardinian club as part of the deal...

Can only hope that we`re getting a good price for Nandez.

The only reason Inter help Cagliari so much because Barella deal i think.

Marotta know someday Cagliari will produce good talent, and hope Cagliari sell them to us than Rube.

What? We get 1m€ transfer fee for Nainggolan?

What a fucking joke. We pay 1m€ to Radja for terminating the contract and get it back from Cagliari?

We surely save over 8m€ in salaries. But we also take almost the same as minusvalenza to our books.

I don't think Marotta thinks that far. He has been here for almost three years and he wasn't able to sell one player at the right price not even Hakimi. And yet he is still hailed by many as the Juve builder.

Marotta sell Icardi, and make Inter win Serie A.
He even make Paratici out Rubentus last year.

I just don't know what you expected?
This is more than I thought. I expected a golden handshake.
I am pleased thet we get rid of this toxic parasite without need to pay him. If we could do the same with Vidal, I will be more then pleased.

You can't just give someone garbage and blame him for can't sell it.

Not Marotta fault that this fucker was here.

That is true but actually nobody wants him, so this is the best scenario so far.
This guy is the worst deal ever. Even for JM we will take some money.

Nainggolan is a valueless asset. He offers close to nothing on the pitch. He's aging. He has huge wages. Who would want him under these circumstances? Cagliari aren't going to give us a cent for him.

We're going to golden handshake him. The capital loss handshaking him provides will be partially offset by not paying all of his 2021-22 wages, plus we will no longer have to amortize him. Using pier's numbers:

Capital loss - 10M
Less: Wages saved (gross) - 8M
Plus: Handshake wages (gross) - 2M (could be more, depends on the negotiation)
Total negative financial impact in 2021-22 - 4M

One of our worst signings last 20 years.

Thanks spalletti.
Radja himself was decent under Spalletti. It was Marotta that rendered the transfer useless.
And if you look at the actual transfer, the loss of Zaniolo hurt a lot mostly because he was first team ready but no one at Inter (mostly Spalletti) was willing to see it.

Candreva was also decent under Conte as well as Moses. The problem is that 9n was brought here to be a key player not just "decent" and he has failed miserably.

It was important to get all the clowns out of squad at that time and it worked. After Inter Balls happend some players value dropped sure, but our managment got controll back and we build professional environment and won scudetto!
