A fit Rafinha was our best mid going forward. And he didn't need to time to assimilate or adjust, he hit the ground running, gave his all, and just a couple of weeks in, fell in love with the club. We gave him a chance and he gave 200% effort which produced results. To me that's more than being a Cruyff, Zidane or Ballack. But to each his own I suppose.we are discussing this guy like he is the second coming of cruyff, zidane or ballack. Chill out - he is an average to slightly above average midfielder who hasn't been here in a while.

Those who like me hoped to sign him for free in a year: bad news. Signed an extension for another year and left on loan at Celta.
Good Luck Rafinha!!!
If I were him, I would have just spent that last season at Barca and then choose my future as a free agent.
Went on to check if it was a free loan or not: Celta payed 1.5m for the loan. Those who like me hoped to sign him for free in a year: bad news. Signed an extension for another year and left on loan at Celta.

Too bad. He's one of the players I've loved the most post treble. Nice to see all his Instagram posts are still full of Interisti commenting.
Or even as a first alternative to Kaku...
