The problem with Brozovic is that he cannot beat anyone 1:1, cannot play "one touch", he is slow thinker and his decision-making is a shit most of the time.
I didn't see enough of Rafina but at least he can beat one-two opponents with ease.

exactly, thats what i was trying to say. Hes skillz are based on shooting from the distance. I dont know but he never made this movements and i never saw potential to become a worldclass player. Rafinha is totaly diffrent. That doesent means that he will be surely important in the future but he makes exactly what a creative midfielder is supposed to do.

Lets say it in poor words: He knows how to play football. :yao:

Brozovic might actually be better off playing in the LCM role in support of Rafinha like Perisic played today. Especially if Perisic continues to be absolute shit.

I would expect that's where he would play -or RCM, even regista - if Rafinha was 100%. In his defence, he's not a trequartista, only that he's our best option whilst we wait on Rafinha.

Hes been ok his couple of games and that's it, done nothing overly impressive.
He's like 70%. Wait till he starts playing more regularly. You can see how comfortable everyone was once he came on. We're taking more risks and making forward runs because players trust he won't lose possession inexplicably like our other mids.

I really do hope that we buy him.

I'm not too worried about him lowering his level with the guys he plays with, although that's always possible. The thing is that he has a brain, talent, and great technical qualities. Typically those type of players will stick out. The fact he's been trained at Barca since a young age is great. There's always a chance our other players won't be able to keep up with him.

He makes excellent decisions, great passes, is able to get past players, and most importantly, he knows what he wants to do. A problem with some of our players is they get the ball and have no idea what they want to do with it. Candreva suffers from this as do D'Ambrosio and Brozovic.

Happy birthday, Rafinha turned 25 today!

There is so many positive things about Rafinha. First of all he looks very motivated and hungry to play, and he has great technical abilities, besides of that he is a very intelligent player. Lets just hope he will keep up his game as over the past few years our biggest problem has been consistency.

Though he makes football look easy with his simple play and beautiful touches. Too bad Borja is pretty old and his legs don't work as good as his brain otherwise they would make a great combo in the midfield.

In overall a very positive performance by Rafinha.
+1, better start saving to activate that buying option this summer!

+1, but he seems pretty mature to me.

Man of the match for me, assisted Karamoh and made our midfield look more fluid. Quick thinker, smart decisions and we should prioritize signing him and Lucas Torreira. Then our midfield would be awesome.

Happy birthday Rafael Alcântara do Nascimento, I wish you to win important trophies at our club!

He's fast becoming the most important member of the team, which says something about our quality at the moment. Hopefully he's in full fitness by the derby.

I doubt we can afford both him and Cancelo (thats 75m right there, plus 25m on Lautaro) so it'll be a tough choice for the club. Full back has always been an issue for us, but it is hard to go past a midfielder of this quality.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards Rafinha. I would have really liked to see him playing alongside Joao Mario too.

From the moment that he came on the field, Rafinha completely changed the game. Inter played with more intensity and urgency going for the win against Bologna yesterday. In less than one half of football, Brazilian managed to be the second best player on the team.

Speaking about the performance yesterday, his father and also agent Marzinho has this to say in an interview with Globo Esporte:

“He played a very good game, giving Inter a better rhythm. He ran the team well and managed to get into the action of the 2-1 goal, plus he caused a red card for the other team. He had a great game and congrats to him on what he is doing at Inter.

Rafinha is gradually finding more place in this group, trying to obtain a starting spot. He wants to take advantage of all the minutes that he is getting. He played very little against SPAL and then 25 versus Crotone and 35 yesterday. Rafinha is being able to adapt and fully integrate himself in this group. Everything is happening very quickly and he is very happy.

“This Inter team is strong and today, they are third in the standings. There are many more games before the end of the season and they have everything to maintain this position. Plus, this is the goal of the team.”

Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, brother of Rafinha, posts on his Instagram congratulating his brother for making such a strong comeback after being out for many months.

“The warrior has returned stronger than before, you changed the game.”

Bench Brozo, start Rafinha. I don`t care if he gets subbed, Rafinha and Karamoh earned their starting spot.

What I like about him besides his performances for us, is the fact that he is managing to quickly integrate himself into the squad. He is enthusiastic and seems happy to be at Inter. Talking, celebrating with the team, posting tons of Inter-related pictures on instagram.

Overall, I like his attitude. He doesn't seem like he's come here just to get playing time, get fit and return to Barca. He seems he genuinely wants to be here.

Yup, he always seeks out the ball and I think the teammates trust him with it. The great thing is he always knows what to do with the ball, is quick with it, and can get past players. He's really important for us.

Hopefully he can start soon.
