For 20M € Rafinha? You are way way overrating Ausilio here.

It's better having Rafinha or Cancelo for next season than having none.

Rafinha: ‘I want to stay, but…’
By Football Italia staff

Inter’s on-loan midfielder Rafinha wants to sign for the club permanently, but admits it is out of his hands.

The Brazilian moved to the San Siro temporarily from Barcelona in January and has impressed in the 16 appearances he has made for Luciano Spalletti’s team.

He scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri in this afternoon’s 4-0 win at Udinese, a result that kept alive Inter’s chances of Champions League qualification.

“I am very happy with the goal and that we won this match,” Rafinha reflected. “This is how we need to continue.

“My last goal came months ago. At the moment I scored, I thought firstly about passing the ball to Candreva.

“But the defender covered the line of the pass, so I shot instead.

“We knew it was going to be a difficult match, but we gave everything. We want to win the last matches as well.”

Asked about his future beyond the end of the season, Rafinha said it is out of his hands but is hopeful a deal can be done between Inter and Barca.

“Staying here doesn’t depend on me, but I want to do it. Inter is in my head.

“I am happy in Italy. I have adapted quickly, I am very happy to play here with my teammates who have helped me a lot.

“What the fans here at Inter have given me is incredible. I am really happy to be here.”

Only a fool could deny the impact he had on our game. He and Brozovic have significantly contributed to increase the tempo of our plays; our attacks now are more direct, more purposeful, and we finally look like we know what to do with the ball in the opposing half. On top of that, he seems sincerely committed to our cause.

Only thing which may help us is that the barca board is generally generous when it comes to players who are not needed leaving for cut prices. (See Thiago)

unlike valencia with cancelo, i would guess barca has no real reason to oppose to a two year loan with redemption, especially seeing as rafinha seems set on staying at Inter.

also,i want to thank him for not passing the ball to candreva, not only because he scored but also because it was freaking hilarious

It is the same scenario I guess, his performances did not go unnoticed for sure, Barca could easily get a much better offer from an array of clubs.

This guy has a magic. Every time when i'm watching him, i expect something special, some wicked move to unlock the opposition's defense. Not like today's predictable running horses with pumped muscles and low IQ.

Give Barca first option on Eder in exchange for extending Rafinha's loan.

Since 2010 Brazil’s squads have always looked weird.

I was really happy when he scored and even happier seeing how he celebrated.
