He was fucking shit today and lost the ball more often than not. We shouldn't get tunnel vision just because he is the only AM to be in the squad since Sneijder or fucking Ricky.

Team didn't show due aproach to the game at the beginning. maybe it frustrated him and he wasn't able to show his best. He was good at pressing though and managed winning the ball when Candreva chipped Lulic and volleyed. Always must buy!

He sucked today. Let’s just be fucking honest. I don’t see the obsession that a lot of you here have for this guy.
I would be just fine without him.
I it comes between him, and Cancelo, there’s not even a debate I’d get cancelo in a heartbeat.

In all honesty, if pressed to choose between Cancelo and Rafinha, I'd go for the latter, even with our recent history of poor FBs. Rafinha is committed, bold, more creative than your average midfielder, and you generally can't find guys at his position with those qualities available at just 35m.

Hopefully CL qualification means we can keep them both.

It is a systemic factor in football that we somehow alway find more Rafinha than Cancelo.

The question is with 35m can we buy a better player than Rafinha? We may have option.
And the same question applies to Cancelo case. But perhaps our chance will not be the same as with Rafinha position.

Rafinha being the first AM to walk into our team since Sneijder is like the fat girl who is willing to fuck you after a dry spell. He is not 35 mil quality no matter how many Instagram posts he puts up.

He struggled today but it was his fest bad game for us.

It's not as if he's not good in big games given h wad great against Juve.

Lazio did their best to limit have and let Vecino have most of the ball. Credit to them.

You're only as good as your last game at Inter.

Anyway, yes he had a bad game, even Icardi did but so what? We can't be a team that solely depends on one guy. Cancelo was terrible against Sassuolo does that mean we should let him go? No, that's retarded logic. Both of them should stay because they are part of our group of players and are established starters, instead of thinking of letting them go we need more viable options on the bench to help them when they don't perform to their levels.

He had a bad game because he was marked all the time, and all our balls were coming from the wings... Lazio kinda parked the bus. I was actually sad to see him leave the match, because i always consider him dangerous. Cut him some slack, it's not like our team was splendid yesterday. We were very lucky. All our goals came from set pieces, we basically sucked but we won somehow.

Just buy him already!!!!!

Yeah. Their prices might be excessive though, I think Ausilio will work on those.

Name a better, obtainable AMF in the market. Keep in mind we've seen Banega, Joao Mario, Valero and even Brozo tried out in that position over the last two years and neither have succeeded.

You guys still in the past, you are looking for quality players for prices when we last played in the CL. 35m is a good deal for what you get from Rafi and he will only improve. He had to adjust to a new team, a new league, a new country post major injury. You guys only need to go back to Jan to see how we looked without him.

I don't mean to support the idea of not redeeming Rafinha, but Banega was better for us and costed us nothing.

Let's live in the present for a change friends.

Also I recommend reading through the last few threads of Rafinha's thread on barca forum, their opinions are even more divisive than ours here.

I had read somewhere that Rafinha's clause will be triggered if we make a top 4 spot. And it's going to be 38m. But that didn't catch on with every source out there so it might have been wrong.

As for the Barca forum comment, I've seen posts that laughed at the fact that they're getting almost 40m for him. We should also be disappointed at that figure.
Anything over 25m is overpaying. And I don't care if we also overpaid for Vecino and Dalbert.
