If we had to choose between Rafinha and Sensi, I still feel Sensi might be better. Hopefully, he will also be healthier, because I feel like he has that special something, almost Iniestaesque quality.
IMO Rafinha is the one with the flair and quality and I feel the closest to having that iniestaesque quality. Actually I'm not sure of what ways Sensi can be considered better than Rafinha. Rafinha is surely better technically, a better passer and dribbler... Sensi can turn quickly and is better at making jinking runs that can slice open defenses. Rafinha can do that to but his balance was wack. Iniesta at 22 was far better than both.

Sensi is younger but I honestly don't see him reaching anywhere near Iniesta's level

rafhina is 27. he's played 101 games of football since July 2015 - by way of comparison Barella has 167 games, Sensi 122.

He's missed out most of his critical years of development unfortunately. If it wanst for the knees, he might have had real potential, but its unlikely he's going to amount to much now. Really gutted for the guy.

I still follow that star, he gave us really good moments of happiness. Guess it's another reason to hate Barcelona

This is becoming a bad case of not being able to let your ex go. I used to be upset too but you guys need to know when to move on. Forget this glassy twerp.

Sound like someone hurt you lol

Nothing wrong with appreciating a former player every once in while, isn't that the point of this thread? smh

Anyway word is he had Covid, recovered and hasn't started played since for whatever reason.

You're turning into a Nyall parody, with his fixated disdain for Gagliardini, at this point.

Rafinha would be just as out of place in our squad right nkw. He was great for us but glad we didn't sign him in hindsight.

I think he went in PSG as free agent. It would have been very good for us to get him instead but under Conte is quite risky to turn to next Sensi - always injured.

As a free agent, then yeah could have been worth a shot. But his injury record even worse than Sensi. Almost.

He was the right guy at the right time. Disappointed we were never able to bring him back - thanks FFP - but his contribution in the half-season he was here has helped us get to where we are now. We don't reach the Champions League without him, and who knows how much of a setback that could've been.

If Spalletti joins Napoli he'd be a great signing for him.

Personally i was always more gutted about losing Cancelo than Rafinha. I loved Rafinha and he was a quality midfielder but Barca demands were ridiculous. It would be insane to spend 40m on someone with his injury record.

If we had Perišić on one side, Cancelo on the other, best wingbacks in the league. Altho Cancelo was here when we didn't play with wingbacks, hindsight is a bitch

No money for Cancelo, but money for Joao Mario and K-Dog :/ depressing.
