This is a good Twitter thread highlighting his strengths and weaknesses as a player. For those interested you will need to click and use the translate function. I know I hate it when others post Italian tweets but this one actually adds value.

Good review from him.

His Conclusion: Bellanova is an outfielder with incredible physical and athletic qualities, good dribbling - albeit monotone - and good crossing. He is not a wide playmaker and he never will be, plus he has major flaws in defensive readings.
For level and style of play, I would see him well in a club like Torino, Inter honestly seems to be an exaggerated step for him. He also shares some of Dumfries' flaws, Inzaghi needs a wide playmaker. On the positive side: he is a 2000 with good room for improvement.

Low-cost squad player. His upside is probably that of Lazzari (so, limited), but he has some unique attributes that will make him valuable off the bench. Good enough for the price.

I hope he’s not penciled in as the new starter if Dumfries is sold.. otherwise seems like a decent cheap option with potential upside.
It sounds like the plan is to sign Cuadrado on a Bosman if we sell Denzel. I'm a bit confused by that, though, because Transfermarkt says his contract expires in 2023, and there's no way Juve sells him here.

Yeah Juve doesn't want to pay 5m which was the automatic renewal salary. They offer 3m. So they can golden handshake him for 2m and we give him 3m.

The issue however is he's Cuadrado.

We could use some pace out there. Denzel has been mostly good for us but you know he’s not really getting past any defenders with the ball at his feet.

I'd say Denzel has pace. That's not really a problem, like you said, the ball at his feet is where he usually slows it down instead of doing something by himself. Bellanova probably won't really be that big of an upgrade in that direction.

As I said to Uni in our private, explicit chat, I don't mind this transfer for that fee.

From what I've seen of him, he looks like he could make good use of the space that Dumfries and Perisic have been afforded in this system. The bottom line for me is that we lack pace in general. He has it, and can carry the ball with it.

He is pretty raw, but he is young and his decision making on both sides of the ball will hopefully improve. Also, at that age a lot of improvement can appear over half of a season.

We should push the 'go' button here.

tbh I'm more interested in what else you discussed with Uni than the rest of the post and I don't think I'm alone :D

Anything that involves Uni, Fitzy and the words “explicit” is bound to be a juicy read tbh. My interest is also piqued
