Well lads, looks like we're at that point once again to say good bye to the Champions League. Always next year, right?

I like your optimism.

I will only give up on the CL when it’s mathematically impossible for us to go thru. This Real side are very beatable. I rue the first goal we gifted them.

- - - Updated - - -

Vidal should not be starter if anything he should come in at last 15 min max, the guy is done as a starter... Subs were terrible as usual.

I must praise Barella the guy is invincible, Brozo is alive again, Perisic had amazing game today too bad that last chance did not go in, but his intensity forward was incredible, and Lautaro also finding space, fighting with Ramos did great 90 mins, Handanovič had some great saves and GD just might come in as a factor...

I do not know what to say more about subbing in retards for the best guys on the pitch. Okay Perisic was dead, maybe Barella also, But put in Eriksen, not donkey FFS, if we only had Vecino, and not this incompetent player...

Or put 3 forwards Pinamonti Sanchez Lautaro if you do not want to play Eriksen, Sanchez can play AM role... So frustrated...

Apart from that yellow card Vidal was very ok. Our defence is our problem this season. Very regrettable mistake by Hakimi for RMs first goal.

We really do need to win all three remaining games to realistically qualify for the next round now, huh? Coughing up a late winner, a three-point swing basically, means we have to win in Germany as well as the home games. That's gonna be a really tough ask.

So painful rewatching that first half. The foul on Hakimi could have easily been given, he pushed him as soon as Hakimi was gonna give the pass. Still an error mind you but another ref would have given it for sure. The Ramos goal I can’t believe it, no one was marking him. How are you gonna leave Ramos unmarked I don’t get it

Not necessarily. Even 1 point could be enough against Real if we manage to win the remaining matches and Gladbach don't win in Madrid. The problem is I have no faith in Inter winning in Mönchengladbach.

Neither do I. I guess another pathway would be if Shakhtar gets a result in Germany, but that's hard to imagine after today. Not impossible - nothing is - but certainly would be a shocking turnaround.

Actually, re-reading your post, I'm not sure a win or draw makes much difference to the math required for Inter there. If Inter beats Shakhar at home and draws Madrid, and Gladbach draws Shakhtar and loses in Madrid (and, of course, that's not the order the games are being played in, I know), that would mean both teams on 6 points in the head-to-head game, and Inter either needs a win or a 3-3 or higher draw because Gladbach has two away goals, and will very likely have a much better goal difference. So it seems like that would be a must-win game either way. Maybe if Gladbach loses to Shakhtar. That would be what changes the math.

Just as expected. Shitty post match comments from Conte.

Antonio Conte maintains Inter ‘are on the right track’ after a 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid. ‘This proves that details can change a game.’

It also proves that you are a loser coach with a loser mentality. It won’t lead us anywhere. Maybe, just maybe we might get to play in CL next year.

Too much fucking maths required counting just for us to qualify from this relatively shitty UCL group stage.

The only math we should be concerned with is how much it would cost us to fire Conte. Nothing else matters. Why worry And analyze scenarios on how we can proceed? Do you think we deserve it? There is a reason why we are last in the group. Even if by some miracle we move to next stages, what will that do? It’s not like we can go anywhere anyway

Conte the coward

Dear deluded Zhang, please have a look at this
bdfdc03dd417ea70cab58c35414cd19f.png

Not top10 in the world, but top4 in the group. AGAIN.

Free header to Ramos, nice
De Vrij lost his man AGAIN, not sure what`s going on with him

now if our coach had some balls...
You could tell Conte was playing for the draw by Vidal`s gesture after a failed Real Madrid attack at 2-2: he was making signs to Handanovic to stop the play instead of lashing out on the counter :fffuuu:

Subs came too late [AGAIN!] and were not inspired [AGAIN!].

You have Eriksen and Radja on the bench and you sub Gagliardini in. Only at Inter.
+1. What`s the point of having a bench and having 5 subs if you always fuck up? :chan:

In the end, finishing made the difference once again. Lautaro scored and set 1 up, but missed 2 incredible chances.

That's exactly what Conte deserved with his cowardice sub. We turned the match around, we had the momentum and he chose to settle for the draw by taking off our best player.
Almost like he didn`t want us to win  Where is brehme to explain we have the trojan exploit in our yard

Can we fucking let Conte go... How much more of this do we have to go through?
Conte is expected to be in charge until 30.06.2022. Club cannot aford to fire him and his staff.

This season's three man defence is shipping goals, switch to a back four quick you fool!
Post-match analysis: ex Romanian NT legends were discussing Conte`s stubbornness to play 3 at the back ALL THE time, no matter the opposition`s formation. Even when facing 1 striker (Benzema) > clearly attacks coming on the wings, way too rigid, no adaptation at all. Not to mention Gasperini`s 3 at the back who swalloed 5 goals this evening at home.

Conclusion: no team recently won any significant trophy with 3 at the back.

De vrij was marking him but Ramos actually lost him.

You know what? Fuck Inter tbh. Till when we are going to be this way? We failed to win any trophy since 2011 and went through a lot of disappointing stuff for a club like us. From being eliminated by fucking Marseille to being eliminated multiple times by fucking midtable teams like Tottenham, Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, and lastly fricking Beer Sheva in the group stage of EL. Forgetting all the mess we have made in the league and all the shitty players we have signed and the idiotic sum of changes of owners and coaches throughout all this years.

Slowly we got better and signed better players and qualified for CL, only to fuck up and get out from the group stage for the THIRD time in a row, losing to clubs like Dortmund and Spurs and soon Shakhtar or Borussia. Oh and not to mention blowing up the EL final to Sevilla. We are shit, we are an embarrassment, we always disappoint. I dont know, owners? Coaches? Players? I dont know who are responsible... but we are just shit. Forza Inter and fuck Inter at the same time. I’m tired of all this, we dont deserve to be like this, we deserve better than this, we deserve better than losing to inferior teams and not matching the target.

I do not think we should bother.

We don't deserve shit. And every match we play is confirmation of that very fact.

Why do you always updating your post :D

I don't know man, it's been like that for 100 years when I'm posting with my phone, I tried to figure it out but, fuck it.

So glad I'm not watching. Fuck you all. IF we can't make it to KO stage, I'll stop watching till the new season begin.

This club needs a paradigm shift. I was always critical of this "win is a win" attitude the club and the fans has. I mean, it's ok to win ugly here and there sometimes but, we need to get away from this attitude, take some extra steps, and make it the club's identity to be a force to reckon in the world of football by going for the win in each match and not settle for mediocrity and minimum point.

Make it the club's approach that we want this type of football; hire a coach who can implant that style; someone who dont go chickenshit and is not afraid to take risks when needed to. Give him the elements he needs and stick with him for at least 2 years. Count on Primavera players and dont let em go easily, and ofc dont trade your young talents for has been oldies! Abolish this "we need experience" nonsense. What's the point of experienced players when they're old and shit and worse, on high salaries?!

Give the young players chance to settle and feel important at this club, and not just when you have no other choice. Getting the confidence from the coach and the club is very important for the players, specially the younger players, to deliver their best on the pitch. Most of what I see from the players at Inter are frustration and confusion.

I am tired of this defensive cautious static approach the coaches implant at Inter. Make it worse, when you cant even defend well. My preference is that Inter stop hiring Italian coaches and get a coach who knows how to attack, knows how to impose his team on the opponent, and not settle for minimum when you can go for the kill.
