I'll be in the studio at the time, maybe that's for the better. I believe we have a chance, but only if players like Vidal, Sanchez and De Vrij are match ready (even if they don't start, I don't want a bench full of primavera players)

If we don't shit in our pants (as we always do against big teams in Europoe) we can surely fight for the win.
The big IF for me is, how many clear chances does Lautaro miss tomorrow? He's a good player, but Dzeko in front of the goal is another level compared to him.

You have to go for the group win. It's all about mentality. Play like champions and worry about the rest later.
You remind me, back in 2010 people wanted to draw the shitty teams but I always said I wanna face all the big guns, bring it on, then we went on facing the champions of England then the champions of Russia then the champions of Spain then the champions of German in the final. We beat them all with no easy shortcuts it was the damn hardest rout ever.

Till this day no other team has done it the same, this is the Inter way, or the highway.

xG stands for expected goals. In the first match we created more quality goal scoring chances than Real Madrid.

And not just that, Courtois said after the match Inter should have won it, not the otherway around.

We are not at that level yet. That team had rehearsed the CL knockout matches for several years. In this team, only Ranocchia has played CL knockout matches and that was decade ago.

All the help we can get, we should hope for that. This team needs experience in knockout matches, more the better. We get to quarters and most likely there will be only really tough ones against us anyway. I rather get to quarters and going out there beating a lesser side in round of 16 than going out against a better side in round of 16.

We had more ball-control but not that much penetration. Ancelotti intention was to sit deep and burst his energy at the end of the match. At the moment they decided to accelerate, we could do nothing to resist and would concede sooner or later.

That Vicinius kid to be particular. He treated Dumfries like a training cone; Skriniar could help out once, twice but not forever obviously. That was like Conte-Barca first match, we could play actively for a while but winning or not is the other team's choice.

I really hope I am wrong though.
We put a lot of shots on Courtois' goal and we could've been 3-0 up if Lautaro and Dzeko hadn't forgot that you're supposed to aim at either side of the goalkeeper and not directly at him.

DDA is getting torched down the right if he plays.
That's what I thought too, but a lot also depends on how Dumfries and Barella help him. Despite all the hype he gets Vinicious is quite overrated to me. His best quality is his dribbling and getting fouled, so the defenders must be careful not to foul him in dangerous areas like inside the box, as he tends to fall down pretty quick. His finishing is a joke and I give a 80% chance that he miss a chance than scoring one.

If I was a defender I won't panic when Vincious tries to use his typical move choosing to go through the defenders legs rather than dribbling one, as he's begging to get fouled by doing that.

This is the real test.

Seriously, if we maintain our level of play for this game, even if we end up losing the match, the future is bright.

I think we are starting to look like a well oiled machine, and this match is exactly what we need right now to see where we truly are.

He has more goals than Lautaro, whom has the advantage of playing more centrally. Do you mean that Lautaro finishing is a bigger joke and 90% chance of missing?

He has cut through Dumfries as easy as a hot knife over butter last time. Now even worse, as there is no Skriniar there to help him (if IM21 formation prediction is right).

That right hole is our Achilles leg (not heel, too big for a heel haha).

I'd love to see a Sanchez start. He either delivers or learns some humility, it would be a win win.

Regarding DDA/Dumfries, both will play anyway and both will get raped a lot, again the left flank will bear the majority of the grunt work this match.
