You didn't have to invoke me, the "Inter Milan" alert sparked my veins and I rushed as fast as I could.
But maybe season ticket holder from those days 14E can be of better assistance, the technology on glass making couldn't help my eyesight at the time.
Ha, but honestly, if you want a replication there it's going to be hard as the whole counter attack system is flawed with football manager and "catenaccio" they have there definitely isn't the catenaccio that Inter played.
It's not a bad attempt honestly but the striker wasn't really an advanced forward, more of a false nine in modern terms. Depending on which season you're going by (if it were Peiro or not). The central midfielder was more of an free roaming playmaker and you'll have to put Vidal as a Half Back. Both center backs should have the same role really.
You'll have to put Eriksen as a shadow striker whatever it's called there. You also have to slot Sanchez next to him as a playmaker if that's your Mario Corso. And Hakimi needs to be a click further up, but that role was a bit complicated. He could be either a wide midfielder (think Atletico's style in the 4-4-2) or a wing forward or a defensive winger. Jair for example did all those things. When it was Domenghini, he was just running about, so he'd be okay as a defensive winger at the spot you have him on.
Most positions were rather fluid. Facchetti for example had full autonomy to roam wherever he pleased. Perisic cannot do that and neither can the game define such a role perfectly, but if there's an inverse complete winger, it'd probably be a better fit.
That team was actually very offensive minded, but so was most of football back then. Herrera just decided to sit back a lot more than others and exploit the empty space.
You're probably going to lose a lot of games paying this way
