I do not really care about his penalty miss. It was a preseason game and counts for shit.

Players miss penalties all the time. It is part of the game, ask Gareth Southgate and England.

I am just glad that he missed when the stakes were not very high. Also, the way some posters were talking about it before the video of his penalty was posted, I thought he helplessly skied it into Row Z. At least he got it on target.
Same, I was thinking I'd see something like Kondogbia's own goal disaster but for penalties.

MILAN - Roberto Gagliardini underwent an MRI scan today after twisting his right knee in training on Tuesday afternoon. The scan revealed a medial collateral ligament sprain.

Roberto's condition will be reassessed next week.

I'm pretty sure Inzaghi wanted him at Lazio at some point. Gags isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

We should sell this guy like amazon ad-ons, not worth it to ship by itself.

Inzaghi always had a big hard on for Gagsy, so I doubt he will be sold. I remember when some top EPL clubs were interested in SMS, Inzaghi wanted Gagliardini as a potential replacement. Inzaghi sees him as a mezzala, his original role, and seems to rate him very highly. Even mentioned him unprompted after the game tonight.

I suspect Gagsy will start a lot of games for us this season once he is fit.

A coach's trust usually have a big impact on a player. Gagliardini is a decent player on his good day, which unfortunately have not been a lot since he joined Inter. Hope Inzaghi could change that for the better.

To be fair Conte trusted Gags a lot too, he just also eventually realized he wasn’t good enough to be a starter.

Sure, the coach's trust is not the sole factor in improving a player nor it's gonna turn an average player into a superstar, but it can have an impact on the player's performance. How the coach utilize his players is also very crucial. Like Gasperini and Atalanta as an example.

*sigh* at least he’s unlikely to have as many attacking responsibilities as he did in Conte’s tactics.
