he must switch to 4-3-3, so we can have more attacking solutions with two CM... 4-2-3-1 is too prevedible...

Mancini evidently doesnt like any of his midfielders, and we're in the process of replacing basically ALL of them.

Sooner the better. The sad thing is this 4231 would probably work very well in Spain and England.

Too bad in Italy they have no intention of playing football.

If he used some of those chairs to knock out some motherfuckers, it wouldnt have been as bad.

Its the players, not the formation that is the issue...

Im not just talking about the players. I mean fielding this exact same line up and style would get us more results in a more attacking league.

But in Italy they sit back and have no intention of attacking because they know we suck at breaking teams down.

He's obsessed with 4-2-3-1/4-5-1 just like the whole Premiershit is. We look crap playing this way, yeah horribly predictable, but I guarantee he won't change it

I hate that the top teams in Serie A have to tailor their squad and playing style to face slow teams who park the bus. Then when they go in Europe and face fast, pressing, attacking teams, they can't cope with it, and people start bashing Serie A for being bad.

Exactly.. The big teams should be the ones setting the time of the league, not the other way around

Same old. :D

The classic one is yet to come though. Do you guys remember "We ran the match" ?

Um we kinda did this time, we didn't against Empoli but against Torino we dominated...

Cant believe this cunt just said that hes convinced we will reach champions league, one way or the other. Hes not buying time, since he will not be sacked anytime soon, so wtf is wrong with him? Giving false promises when he cant deliver after clearly made wrong choises?

Kuzmanovic and Guarin over Hernanes, inventing new role for Kovacic, playing everybody except Dodo. Making covardly choise to not risk Shaqiri injury while we desperate need points.

I meen, put him in first half if you think he cant last both. Preassure for early lead, and then make Palacio change.

I really dont understand this logic. He gets all the players he want, he overpayed for Brozovic, and now promises.

Ok cunt, lets wait and see, if you dont deliver fuck you and your bullshit story

In past 5 years i bet this the worst start ever
Only gasperini i guess who worst than that because only have 5 match
Thats why i never want to bring our former coach/player especially who had a nice memory for us..
This kind of result just ruin that memory..

strangely i still feel more comfortable under mancini than i did with mazzarri. we all knew it was the players/talent that was the problem and not the coach but i'm okay with what's happening now because i think this is the wakeup we need to get rid of the trash and start buying stars again.

Mancini has always been like that, in a way he is the "Ibra of coaches". He is not lying, I am sure he believed that Inter can reach the CL, and he wanted the players and fans to believe with him. Sometimes when it doesn't work he ends up looking silly, but that is his personality.

I kinda like that attitude. Its a winning mentality, even though it sometimes sounds almost deluded.

That said, I don't think he said that Inter will qualify after today's game - he just said “Clearly it would’ve been important to start the second half of the season strongly. All we can do now is roll our sleeves up and push on." - I see nothing wrong with that statement.

Kuzmanovic and Guarin over Hernanes, inventing new role for Kovacic, playing everybody except Dodo. Making covardly choise to not risk Shaqiri injury while we desperate need points.

I think a few of us (I know I did) had predicted this, specially about Hernanes and Dodo. Dodo is just not Mancini's idea of a fullback, he was more like what Mazzarri wanted in a wingback. And Hernanes competes with Kova for that one spot in Mancini's tactics, or in the wings where he is clearly wasted (Mancini already experimented with that, and I am glad he has given up on that). So in short, Mancini still does not have the players he needs to make his team. This will take time, lets have some patience.

I am actually in agreement with Mancio's approach. He is clearly focusing on organising his defense first, hence Obi/D'Ambro/Donkor are preferred over Dodo, and Kuz/Guarin/Medel over Hernanes in the defensive midfield. To give Mancio credit, our defense has looked more organised than it ever did under Mazzarri, even today that was evident. The very fact that today a team like Torino came to park the bus at San Siro, having all 11 players behind the ball almost all the time, shows that other teams have noticed Inter's recent organisation. 3 months ago, Torino might have come to San Siro with a more attack minded approach trying to take advantage of our shakey defense.

Our attack is completely out of sync, that is very evident. But I am glad Mancini is building from the defense, that is the right approach. The attack will take a lot of time to start gelling, and the confidence in defense will start helping with the attacking mentality. Re Shakiri not starting, I guess we must take the word of our coach that he does not have 90 minutes in him yet. Shaqiri started in the mid week, so maybe its wise to start him from the bench for this one. Most top coaches these days do that, including Van Gaal and Mourinho. Its just sensible, nothing to do with being cowardly or brave.

I remember a lot of Inter fans were very disappointed with Mancio in his first season with us... there were like 14-15 draws, including 6-7 in a row I think. Same at City, in his first (part) season he failed to qualify for the CL. But both times he build on that the following seasons. Now at Inter, it may take even more time due to our lack of resources. So lets be patient...

He wants another defender asap. Will definitely be at the expense of someone. Rano sacrificed?
