Not the most convincing win. Even we got lucky Dybala set up the ball deliciously for Lautaro to blast if off. However, considering the congested fixtures, a clean sheet victory, and 2 injuries in the first half, I would take the win unchalantly without complaining.

Still, it stands that Inzaghi doesn't have to use all subs every game, especially in circumstances like these when you only lead 1-0 away at Roma, and you play without a regista, perhaps shouldn't tweak so many things at once. Luckily we won, Roma were possibly the best opponent we could face today, they are in crisis.
When you take a quick look at the fixture list. It makes sense that everyone needs to be involved as much as possible.

Job done.
I love the way we suffered but still managed to pull out the 3 points. This is the way for the scudeto.
I think there was a mental slip after Acerbis injury. We looked pretty good and it felt like a goal is a matter of time, even after Hakans injury but i felt we stopped pushing after Acerbi was out , kind of preserving energy/trying to avoid additional injury i guess.
We need to get Primavera guys instead of Correa. Seriously there is no added value to have him on the pitch. We won't sell him, he will run his contact and go. He doesn't have any impact and it looks like he lacks of any interest as well so let the young kids run instead of him.

So many pazza but good things happened, we switched to 5-2-3 with Correa and Frat on the side tucked in? Correa protecting space hard and making an impact defensively and offensively?
Frat played like a wide midfielder?
Bissek chose to space holding track back in 1 vs 2 position and not go for the ball?
I mean is it obvious to everyone these Mofos for just not trying before now? Not enough defensive drill my ass.

Massive three points. Extremely hard match. Came with a heavy price aswell. Hopefully the guys are ready for Juve.

I would definitely rest Lautaro, Hakan and Barella vs YB, only on the bench if necesary.

Dybala really steps up his game and put it all out there, he’s like Messi later in career, play in deeper role, run his ass off, sprint straight back to cover Dimarco in Lautaro’s goal, even coould block his shot.

That`s not only at Inter. Pirlo was also an attacking MF converted by Ancelotti in DLP. And so are the most of them. Modric (you could call him a DLP) was the same.
DLP is the most difficult position arguably to learn and master. You don`t see a 20yo kid bossing in this position from his first seasons. Probably the only one I remembered as a pure DLP from the beginning was Xavi. And even him needed a few years until he became worldclass.
I mean Albertini, Xabi Alonso, Jorginho, Thiago all were DLP from the start to some degree if you count Xavi as one; Verratti and Beckham could have been one from the start?
I think it has to do with how football changed these days though, that team were not as high press as today; also I don't think coaches prefer to play pure DLP, and even if they do they would want to, the DLP has to have other contributions too, like Modric who I think is a box to box and DLP and advanced playmaker, he basically did everything in his prime time and at top notch fashion. Plus the trend is short passing these days. That is why I hate Pep, destroyed football.

It is similar to no one plays #10 anymore.

I sincerely think Asllani could work pretty well as a DLP if he started playing way back, instead in modern settings; he needs more for today though.

Also Pirlo > Xavi

juve without koop and bremer, us without acerbi and cahla.. this is already a boring 0-0, mark my words.
If we stay still it's another 0-0 for Juve. If we push but not clinical enough it'll be a Milan-bis. 0-1 in my guess.

He`s with the royal family now...

- right before the game - Marotta made a statement about the players playing too many games nowadays with unprecedented high number of injuries throughout Europe. Spot on, as always!

Fuck man I should learn to turn the tv off when Hakan comes off. An absolutely insane drop in quality.
This is such a lousy game. Aside the first 10minutes or so, both teams are having a chill training session. I really hope it will be a different second half.
Went to sleep at half-time, don`t regret it.

Read the entire thread and it seems I didn`t miss out on much.

Lautaro’s form is more alarming than usual
He finally showed up! His shot was not accurate but powerful enough to beat the keeper. Was about fucking time!

Taremi cannot run after long fly yet?
Saved him and Arna to start in the UCL?

Ya we aren't winning this game
Have some faith!

Yes, the first priority of Juric was to fix their defence and limit us (admitted in his post-match interview) but we`re still the champions of Italy.

Glad that the team managed to win these crucial 3 points without Hakan.
