Personally,. I think we have enough: (1) Croatian playrs without adding another; and (2) former Juventus players/directors/coaches without adding another.

Thanks but no thanks when it comes to Cunt Mario.

3511 with Eriksen behind Perisic :einstein:

All jokes aside, Eriksen is never going to succeed in that role IMO. Eriksen's previous experience playing trequartista in a 4231 is very different.

I think the role is much more suited to a nimble SS type like Papu Gomez or Dybala while Eriksen is much more of a midfielder than a forward. If anything, he's going to have even less passing options than he does now as AM in a 3412.

So. Lukaku is out, Sanchez gets injured again on international duty, and Lautaro is in hysterically shit form. Really boggles the mind how we haven't bought a backup for Lukaku since Conte arrived. We've had fucking 3 transfer windows yet failed to do so.

With Lautaro*

That nicest football you mentioned hasn't been seen since that day at Camp Nou either. We're just going to do the same shit, which is our defenders playing long balls to the forward. But instead of Lukaku trapping the ball, releasing a horrendous lay-off, then complaining at his teammates, we'll have Martinez falling over every time he feels a defender behind him.

I'm afraid to say he complains at his teammates, people will label that as hate :yao:

I hope we change something in our offensive play but every game I lose more and more the conviction that we are going to win anything with Conte. And that makes me fear that whoever comes after Conte wouldn't be as successful with Lukaku...

Cause conte is the first coach who gets Lukaku to perform? Yes he might not be as successful but it s not like lukaku was a scrub before being coached by conte.
Dude scores and plays well in the NT and scored some 113 goal s in 252 EPL games.
Yes some coaches will use him better as others but the dude is good for 20 a season no matter whos the coach.

Yeah I think that the concern for Lukaku's performance if Conte leaves is unwarranted. He still would perform.

I said >>>AS SUCCESSFUL<<< where did I say Lukaku was a scrub? Working with Conte, he had the best season in his career, how does saying that I fear it might not be the same under another coach lead to the usual he has scored X goals in x games?

This guy must play as much as possible, otherwise there's rarely a man who can fucking score.

We scored 2 goals without him, didn't we? That's pretty much our goal average when he doesn't play, most teams don't even manage to have an average of 2 goals per game.

The problem is not Lukaku playing or being absent, it's the complete lack of strategy.

You mean like he did in Manchester under 2 different coaches?

It's a valid concern.

I have no doubt that he was reading Forza Inter Forums and especially paying attention to Brehme's posts in this thread.

In any event, I thought it was a shit look given that he was in the stands to apparently support his teammates but was instead on his phone.

Didn't play, scored 2 goals again. Be it Parma or Real Madrid, we average over 2 goals a game without Lukaku on the pitch. Maybe that provides some context as to why he scores a lot as well while as a team we average roughly the same amount of goals with him on. Will leave that statistic for another day though, my guess would be that we have 2.5 goals with Lukaku on and something like 2.2 without him.
