Makes sense, Lukaku was playing golf this year, smh.

The whole Serie A is a joke, lmao. Just look at the videos regarding Inter on their Youtube channel.

If selling Lukaku for 100-120mil€ means we can keep Hakimi, I’d make it happen. As many have pointed out Lukaku is in the age where a decline is waiting to be happen, especially for a player like his characteristics. Add Conte leaving who got the best out of him and it comes obvious he needs to be sacrificed if an abovementioned offer comes in.

And even if there is no decline in the next few years, the resale value is still very low. I mean if we want to ride his prime years which are here right now, then fine. But then it also means we amortize his value to zero eventually and get very little back when he leaves at the age of 33-34 (he's gonna get extension at some point for sure if we keep him).

With Lautaro, his value remains high and if he scores more, it keeps rising and rising, he's that young. So in addition to keeping him for let's say 3-4 years, he would still net enormous transfer fee (and thus plusvalenza) if he wanted to experience another league like Spain. These players are of course not comparable as Lukaku is more dominant at the moment but the possibilities what the Lukaku sale now would give us immediately AND in the future are so much larger compared to keeping Lukaku and selling Lautaro.

Forza Lukaku! Congratulations. You dominated Serie A this year, and this reward is deserved. Take confidence from this award and perform even better in the years to come so you stay.

Amala!

Would be nice if we upgrade Kaku with Bellotti. Romelu was huge for us but I don't mind AT ALL to sell him. I've seen picked Rom last season because of Conte and i am not impressed. There was a lot of great plays and goals for sure, but there were also a lot of bad displays when i had an awkward Emil Heskey kinda vibes. It might be my preference but i'm not really fond of these type of strikers (big bully ones).

Lukaku was a an upgrade for Icardi, that's true, but now i want an upgrade for Romelu if we can sell him.

He was our mvp this season but when Inzaghi starts to use him in a lone striker role with Eriksen behind him I only see epic failure.

Yes, I would sacrifice Peak Lukaku to save Hakimi and Lautaro. and yes, double yes, I would bring Vlahovic to play with Torito. I also would prefer a godlike attack paired with a mediocre defense and a mediocre midfield, but only out of necessity

Chelsea badly need a striker. If we could get 100m from Chelsea for Rom we have to take it.
I would also take that deal, just not seeing anyone offer so much with everyone knowing the club`s financial state.

Maybe Conte will take Lukaku with him at Real and we can get Benzema + big chunk of cash at least 80m. Or just give us 100m and Marotta will know how to replace him.

Point is, I`d also rather sacrifice Lukaku than Hakimi. Especially for 100m.

This is a completely hypothetical scenario that I doubt would happen. However if Chelsea came in with an offer of 40 million plus Werner what would you guys do?

I’d have to think about it. I know Werner’s finishing is suspect but I also feel like a Lautaro and Werner front line could be very interesting.

It seems there are 3 probable destinations if Inter decide to sell Lukaku:
  1. Chelsea: They are more than happy to replace misfiring Werner and they surely afford high price tag with UCL winning money and Russian oil money. Lukaku too would not mind to return to his former club and to aim higher glory.
  2. Madrid: Seems to be the most likely option if Perez hires Conte. Madrid would like to replace Benzema and I can imagine Conte makes daily rant to Madrid board via email and whatsapp spam to sign him. Lukaku also
  3. Tottenham: Levy will be very eager to replace Kane and we can demand exorbitant fee from Kane's sales money. But it is the big question mark if Lukaku wants to move to bottling club with barely any ambition to win any trophy.

If you need confirmation, just watch the match between Juventus v Inter again on the penultimate day of the season. It will leave you with absolutely no doubt about how much of joke Serie A really is.

60+Werner would work

Still, Chelsea fans are overall happy with Werner, it's fans of other clubs that make fun of him. Lukaku kinda got the same treatment with the CL exit shenanigans and EL final blocking the shot Sanchez made

I don't believe Chelsea would let go of Timo now

Werner will be much better next year.
It is impossible that he will miss so many chances next year after this confidence boost.

He is still Chelsea most important player if we look chances created, goals and assists.

He was playing as Lautaro (second striker) in Leipzig with Patrick Shick.
If Chelsea signs target man like Lukaku or complete CF like Kane he will be even better considering all facts.

He will stay.

It seems that Abramovic himself wants to get Lukaku. I hope our mngmt won't be so stubborn as when demanded 70mln for Perisic.

Have you seen Werner at Chelsea? I don't remember ever seeing such a hyped transfer fail so miserably in every conceivable way (actually mabye Torres and Sheva at Chelsea as well). He can't even score in his dreams at the moment and is basically a meme at this point. Lukaku was way better in the PL compared to him. Rather have straight up cash and buy someone else.

Man come on. I have been a huge Werner fan since his time at Bundesliga. I always suggested him during his time at Leipzig whenever there was a discussion about a Lautaro sale. But the guy has a serious confidence issue at Chelsea. He's too big of a risk. Not worth it.
