I think Inter is just waiting for a right bid from Chelsea. And we also need to wait till 8th of August to finalize the deal so that Lukaku gets his 2 full years at Inter. So that Inter can get the tax benefits from Growth Decree. For example with Hakimi, we had to pay those normal taxes because he spent only 1 year at Inter.

They are going to sell Lukaku, turning down 130m€ would be batshit crazy to be honest. If only we can use at least most of that money to reinforce the squad, that should be fine. Let's say we get 120m€, Zhang takes his 20m€ cut and Marotta can keep 100m€, that could be good enough for everyone?

Yeah, I just posted on the Forwards Rumour thread off the back of a Bluenine comment. Something like Vlahovic+Dzeko+Dumfries would only run us about 80/85m, depending on how much of a dick Commisso/Friedkin wants to be about it.

We arguably come out better as a squad with that.

No complaining in this case, ofc, at least for me.

Between the two of us, you're the one who joined in Suning era. I've been a member on this forum probably longer than you've been supporting this team.

I've also posted in other threads that I do want, and believe its the likely path, that Suning will sell the club. I'm a seasoned veteran of supporting Inter, not a teenager anymore who reacts overly emotionally to things. Inter is bigger than any owner, manager, or player.


So dont fucking dare question my loyalty to Inter, I've sat through more than enough shit, seen people like Ronaldo leave after 2 years of being nursed back to health, Mourinho walk out on this club and not even come back to Italy after winning the treble, and Forlan/Zarate era.

If they sell Lukaku, the value of the club drops with the same amount, possibly even more as we risk the top 4 and thus the CL money.

But they should indeed just sell because they cannot run the club to the ground, backlash would be too big which only deepens the hole and value keeps on bleeding out.
