Discussion is always all good and its very useful to hear contrasting sides and consider other views. What I'm not going to accept is after 21+ years of supporting Inter through thick (a little) and thin (a lot) is being a shill for the latest owners. By some kid who (ironically) probably didn't support Inter until the zhangs arrived.

At what point have I had any objection to them having an opinion? The only thing I have beef with is being called a Zhang shill and the allegation that I'm being _paid for_ by Zhang.

The WHOLE POINT of the number of years I've supported Inter is that I've (factually! Indisputably!) signed up to this forum long before Zhang was even a thing. Unless you think this is some major CCP conspiracy theory where I've signed up to an Inter forum in the anticipating that, maybe, in 12 years time, a Chinese billionaire who basically didnt exist at that point in time was going to buy out the club and we wanted to start the social media disinformation game early?

As someone who lives in England with a handful of Chelsea supporting friends, they are all in on Lukaku. Which is funny to me, because for 2 years I was told what a flop he is, and how he has no first touch, can only do it in a farmers league, etc. Now they are all messaging me about how they are winning the league and CL again this season.

I mention Haaland to them and they say they are all in to win now, which I believe Haaland can help you with currently, but what do I know.

I am torn because the rumoured 130m is great value, BUT of course the rumours of what will be re-invested do not leave me optimistic. On the other hand, I would like the club to give a big F YOU to these super clubs looking to poach our players and buy their titles. I would love to open twitter and see a statement from the club about all of this and how our best players are staying to help retain our title and make a push in Europe.

I really don't think that there is some grand plan in all of this. I would say the numbers were there with hakimi sale, zhang just wants a quick shortcut to make it even faster.

For me the best we could realistically get is Werner. I don't even bother to discuss players who have a role in their squad like Reece James, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic etc. It's not happening.

We shouldn't even bother with Alonso, Emerson and Zappacosta. Alonso is good as a wingback but he is 31 years old and he earns way too much. Not worth it. Especially since there's nothing concrete about a Perisic departure. Emerson and Zappacosta have no business playing for Inter. They're simply not good enough.

Abraham looks to me like a new Danny Welbeck. I would stay away. Ziyech has no position in our formation.

Werner is coming from a very poor season but he isn't a bad player. His biggest issue at Chelsea is lack of confidence. Perhaps he could look much better with a change of scenery. My biggest worry with Werner is he's too similar with Lautaro so i don't know if a Lautaro-Werner duo would work. But when i read about Kean, Belotti and fucking Scamacca then i certainly prefer Werner.
