What makes all that a bit awkward is of course the comments of Lukaku returning from holidays, posting those coming back etc posts. But I can guess the Chelsea option became real only very recently. I give the benefit of the doubt to Lukaku in this one.

I honestly think he was fine staying at Inter but it was Inter who wanted to sell and he got a good offer and accepted it. Helped Inter financially big time and also signed for CL holders.

Agree with this.

Because most people said that we should not have sold Hakimi as Lukaku will be sold as well after that. I believe Chelsea's offer hasnt arrived yet when we are about to sell Hakimi.
And also I swear I read it somewhere that we have to sell Hakimi before 30 June for FFP or some shit CMIIW, it means we cannot wait for Lukaku's offer from Chelsea.

My issue is,
1. Even hakimi had the decency to post something before announcing his signing with psg
2. Lukaku said he was happy at inter, happy with inzaghi, he was at home here and supported inter as a kid. He's now said he supports Chelsea as a kid and is back home

I just expected more from him and feel let down by him. He's been radio silent for 10 days whilst this goes on, wouldn't have been difficult to draft something up for the club and fans that resurrected his career let's be honest. That's all.

I don't know why people still care about what players say. The age of Maldinis, Zanettis, Tottis and Puyols is almost over. It's a business and a job for many players. Even a 10 years old can learn some heartwarming lines to say to the fans. It doesnt mean much to me tbh. All I care about is them being professionals and do their job properly as the employees of their club. If they do that they earn my respect. If they don't like the likes of Naingolann, they don't earn my respect.

He didnt have to say Lukaku did everything to make this happen if Lukaku was forced out of the club by Suning like many implied.
