You're probably one of those people who were saying that "Lukaku is carrying us" although I'm not sure when you're speaking your mind, trolling or just typing words whilst stoned so I'll omit your name from the list until further evidence.
So you agree with what I said?

The thing is, everyone needed eachother but the man who made it happen was Conte and if you have to point one single person out then it will be him. Now after your boycott I hope you can enjoy our 2 stars even though the 19th one was won by Conte while you were boycotting our team for your own feelings.

The thing is, Lukaku needed the team to be at his service. Without his teammates, he would not have achieved anything. For that reason, saying he carried us to the Scudetto is a falacy. He was one of many contributors.

Not sure because you're one of the few people I cannot read, as in construe.
No worries mate, forza Conte. And always remember, I've never boycotted Inter because of my personal feelings.

Forza Conte, thanks for leaving us and we are much better without him. Worth the 7m severance we gave him.
Indeed, but I still think Forza Conte because of the stepping stone he gave us. The mentality has not been like this for ages and maybe you can connect the dots yourself.

Indeed, you're a true supporter of the Zhangs.
I think you read the word boycotting and setting your feelings aside for your team wrong. Maybe you have been having problems reading as you pointed out yourself?

to be honest, he's probably our best signing since Eto'o?

best goalscorer in Inter history off the top of my head if you look at his average goals across both seasons, brought us to 2nd then 1st after finishing 4th 2 times in a row, and we made like 30-60mil on him depending whose perspective you take on what we paid.

seriously impressive, tbh.

I consider Skriniar, Brozovic and Barella all to be better (and more crucial) signings than Lukaku. Lukaku's stats are impressive but I fucking hate how if a striker scores goals, somehow he is impervious to any critique . Stats are worth nothing unless you take them into consideration alongside watching the player/games alongside it. They show everything but reveal nothing.

All of his goals were statpadded against shitter teams, he was routinely invisible in big matches and directly costed us one Europa League trophy. He certainly worked out but I'm glad we sold him because that was the most he will ever be worth, we made some nice plusvalenza and got a serviceable stopgap striker. And that's the key word when describing Lukaku - serviceable. I truly doubt he would repeat his success under Inzaghi in a system that isn't 100% dedicated to support a singular key player like Lukaku enjoyed under Conte.

Buying Lukaku was probably the riskiest move Marotta pulled at Inter, if not in his entire career, and I firmly believe that the way the entire saga ended de-aged Beppe for a year or two now that he thinks about it retrospectively.

I don't give a shit about some measly record on paper, when it comes to delivering when it matters Lukaku was never a striker that his predecessors at Inter set as standard.

but when it comes to delivering, we went from a scraping-4th side to one that won the scudetto. And I dont believe there are probably *Any* strikers you could swap in for Lukaku that we could afford who would have achieved that as well. He might not have been the most graceful, glamorous, or big game contender we've ever had - by no means - but what he did do was make us a much better club than we were 3 seasons ago, we've got much better prospects, and lukaku's contribution towards that cant be ignored.

Barella, Brozovic, Skriniar are all better signings than Lukaku, on paper even De Vrij was because without him there is NO WAY Conte would have ever been able to play a 3 at the back formation this good, and man came for free.
Lukaku was carried by the team and the system Conte had created for him, walking for 80 minutes, scoring one tap-in and getting all the glory while players like Brozovic and Barella were crucial in nearly all the phases of our game.
People in here were saying he carried us to the scudetto, he carried Lautaro while my man was litterally more static than the corner flag when we didn't have the ball.

Thank you Chelsea and Tuchel, the real heroes.
