His strength is the same but premier league is not seria a in terms of physicality, he just can't manhandle people like he did here.
Not true at all mate, he simply isn't performing like he did for us. I feel that giving his recent comments Lukaku doesn't think Chelsea is his home anymore, and he would love to come back to Inter. The psychological and emotional state of a player really shows in how they perform, and this is not the exception.

like I said when he left, he'd regret it. Italy was a league where his attributes allowed him to shine against a bunch of the middle and lower teams, he had a fan based that had built up two years of adoration with him, and he wouldd have had a great season under Inzaghi

oh well

His involvement in the game with Chelsea is the same as Icardi's. Except, he do not score with those 2 touches he has during the whole game.

Don't have one.

I really don't agree with this. I think his strength and speed is what set him apart in seria a where you don't have many of those types of players, beside the fact that conte knew exactly what to do with him tactically. In premier league he is one of many similar players, in italy he was a phenom in terms of physicality.

I think some of you forget this is his 4th Premier League Club. It’s not like he’s adjusting to the league or something like that. He has proved himself in the past and I think now it comes down to his emotional state rather than how strong PL defenders are.

It's not the league, it's Conte.

Why do you guys always forget that Lukaka has over 100 goals in EPL? He fucking killed it there with West Brom and Everton, and these teams played direct football, like Conte.

It's Lukaku in a big game... what were YOU expecting?
I expect nothing from him anymore, but sometimes the stupidity (from a sporting perspective, not financial) of his move still astounds me

Chelsea fans and the general media are battering him over here, which is absolutely what he should have known would happen :palm:

When he is off form, the team is playing like having only 10 players. The problem is he is so inconsistent thus far.

No its not Conte, he is shit player for big games, he was shit in Italy in every game against rube. Shit against Barca also. He is small potatoe. Thrives only against shitty teams, so its good to have him in seria a, full of shitty teams.

Lukaku screwed himself. Money isn’t everything Big Rom.

If you’re gonna talk a big game you better be able to back it up. Clearly Lukaku has a bigger mouth than footballing ability.

I like Lukaku but I don’t think anyone can say he doesn’t struggle in big games.

Tuchel also keeps using him as a lone striker. I've said this many times, Lukaku is not a good lone striker. He needs his Lautaro etc player next to him.
