I am a-ok with a return as long as the wages are reasonable.

Yes he knows we have a wage cap and he has to make it up towards the fans. It`s like a latin love-story, perfectly fits the italian bill.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, Lukaku is in contact with Inter directors Piero Ausilio and Beppe Marotta and has asked them to return to the club. The striker is also dropping hints on social media and liked the picture of the team-building barbecue organized at the Pinetina a couple of weeks ago.

Inter directors and President Steven Zhang are aware that Lukaku wants to return and is ready to cut his salary by almost 50% to play for the Nerazzurri again. However, the Serie A champions must balance the books and could see more stars leave in the summer, perhaps Stefan de Vrij and Lautaro Martinez.

Lukaku isn’t on good terms with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, but even if the German coach leaves in the summer, any potential new owner of the Blues will not sell Lukaku on the cheap after his €113m transfer just one year ago. This means that the striker would only return to Inter on loan, but the club would face the same economic issues at the end of the next campaign.
I would bring him on LOAN, not sure what Marina thinks about that LOL.

Perhaps it has sailed but we cannot deny the obvious and that is that we need a more regular goal scorer.

Even if it is not Lukaku, that is okay. But we can not go into next season limping along as we have done this season.

I hope we find a Dzeko replacement and that he will be relegated to the bench next season or allowed to leave because we have relied on him much to our own detriment.

I miss him absolutely bullying opposition defenders, using his body to push them off the ball and then running into space.

He makes Dzeko look like a stobie pole.

I would bring him back. He is mediocre player but he knows to score against midtable teams and knows to score a fkn penalties. Our current strikers fail even to deliver that.

Mediocre player? Come on man. This team wouldn't have THREE games with multiple goals in 2022 if he was still here. He did a great job scoring against bottom table teams, which is how you win Scudettos.

Don't see how anyone could think he is anything but a massive upgrade on our current team

How much of his goalscoring form was due to Conte forcing him to do extra work?
If we sign him back he's gonna be a completely different player than before. He doesn't have the discipline to work out his flaws without outside help.
