The truth is that lukaku never wanted to leave. Suning had to sell him because of financial reason as we all know. So he intentionally played shit at Chelsea only to comeback after 1 year. We made that money we had to get, and now Lukaku can comeback. At the begining it was planed that he should come already at January, that's also why we never got someone better then Dzeko. Oh and Of course this whole "i was always Chelsea fan" was only part of he's plan so that nobody would ever think that he's doing it intentionally.
Scully? Scully?

Inter's plan is pretty obvious. Its to have Lukaku, Lautaro, Dzeko and Dybala... Theres also two big problems. Correa wont wanna go to a shitty club like Marseille and no one else is really interested in him and there's also Alexis, who will probably get 6M just to fuck off.
This is what would make the most sense from a sporting point of view but i don't think it's possible for financial reasons. I don't remember the exact figures but i think Correa earns around 3.5m net. Lukaku would earn at least 6m. And that's why Dzeko, who earns around 5m net, is the one who needs to go. The problem is we would have a similar issue with last season. We may have two forwards and two SS on paper but Inzaghi sees Lautaro as a secondary striker. So we would go to a LuLa attack with Dybala and Correa coming from the bench. Problematic. No real forward on the bench, like last season. The only difference would be, unlike Dzeko, Lukaku won't be dead tired in second half.

Can't even say this with confidence.

I think Lautaro can play as the CF too, with Dybala for example. Inzaghi can do all kind of swapping there. I think this insane depth in the forward department would be very beneficial now in the coming season as it is very tight-scheduled because of the World Cup shithousery in the middle. No striker needs be run to the ground as there are probably no one-game-weeks for the whole season except right in the end perhaps.

Reliable Chelsea journalist, Nizaar Kinsella:

The Blues have seemingly given up on repairing the situation with their club record signing despite public comments to the contrary

Chelsea have indicated that they are willing to reduce their loan fee to allow their club-record signing Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter, GOAL understands.
The £100 million ($136m) signing is pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge through his newly appointed lawyer Sebastien Ledure.

After initially asking for €25 million (£21m/$27m), the Blues now seem willing to drop their price to just €12m (£10m/$12m), with Inter's latest approach offering €7m (£6m/$7m).

The Blues are trying to leverage the situation to poach one of Inter's defenders.

But the Serie A club are not wanting to include any of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni or Denzel Dumfries.

This comes with defensive options scarce at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.

They have also been linked with Lautaro Martinez but the Argentina striker is seen as untouchable at San Siro.

Selling Lukaku for 115M€ and THEN loaning him back for 5-10M€ the very next year is a masterstroke no less.

He will be motivated to get in shape for our scudetto hunt and for World Cup, also we don't really know how he will fit Inzaghiball so the loan is the best fit , we can exit from this without much harm if he doesnt work out.

Would be crazy to have a press conference of Dybala and Lukaku at the same time. Our most technical signing and the other can't dribble if his life depended on it ( but still hammers Bolognas!!)

95 games 64 goals for Inter - 0.67 per game goals
Christian Vieri piled on - 0.65 per game goals
Meazza - 0.69

The good thing is that most people are still adequate on the forum that the vote shows - for! his return.

Di Marzio says Chelsea asks 15m€ but 10m€ + bonuses might do it.

Fuck this shit, offer 5m€ and leave it there. Chelsea is much more desperate to get him off their wage bill than us signing him.

Players have too much control nowadays. Good thing we are building a proper community here, players that actually want to be at Inter and seemingly like each other.

I can understand Lukaku pushing out to 'save his career', but that's a really shitty thing to do to a club that just bought you for a record fee. It has only been one year and the divide between Tuchel and Lukaku is huge, they should've worked something out.

Is Lukaku's arrival and Skriniar departure connected? If it is then Lukaku should fck himself.

Don't see any potential Džeko buyers.

It's connected with harming our already fragile finances and we have a trigger happy Marotta at the helm with clear instructions to sell anything that breathes from above.

So yeah, it's connected in some way.

It's more important to cut off his salary than selling him. Of course that Inter would be happy to get money for Dzeko, but it won't happen. I believe that Marotta will tell him he can go if he finds a good offer for him.

Lukaku salary would be as same as Dzeko with the growth decree rule

Let's see the final details, but for now a dry 10 mln loan with 7 mln salary is not exactly "harming our fragile finances", provided that we have to get a reliable forward anyway. I don't see a cheaper option on the market, except if we get Cavani or Suuarez or some another free oldie, which particularly for me is not a better solution.
