The question is why would psg want him? Would be kind of a downgrade for them.
Or let me put it like this no way lukaku is psgs first choice for that striker position
It's just an example..but PSG specifically with messi and Neymar leaving this season they need something up front

As I said though lukaku to PSG is an example. Maybe back to united, who knows, my point is that if inter can't afford him I'm sure some clubs who can would at least be interested to have a Convo with him

Yeah if messi and neymar really leave that is ....
Lol united fans would never want him back that ship has sailed....
Also not sure mgm would take him back after forcing his way out....

shrug, needs must - again united are just an example, but they lack a real goalscorer atm. It seems certain Messi will leave, Neymar TBC.

Keeps scoring when he starts.

I think he needs to start vs City.

Anyway, how many goals/assists do you think he will get in these last 4 games?

Lukaku: ‘I knew if Chelsea didn’t work, I still had Inter’
Romelu Lukaku has again sparked controversy after discussing his high-profile move to Chelsea and subsequent return to Inter in an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws.

The Belgian striker joined the Blues in August 2021 in a deal worth around €113m, but failed to impress during his first season in West London, managing just eight goals in 26 Premier League appearances.

What really derailed Lukaku’s return to Chelsea was an interview he gave to Sky Sports Italia in the early months of the season, discussing his love for Inter and apologising to the fans for his exit, promising to come back in the future.

Lukaku returned to Inter last summer on an €8m loan deal with no buy option attached. After a slow start, dealing with injuries and poor fitness, the Belgian has finally started to show flashes of his brilliance once again.

Speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws, Lukaku first discussed the idea of holding the Champions League trophy in one hand and his children in the other.

I am very relaxed, you know. Even when the referee ended the semi-final. I wasn’t super euphoric. OK, it’s my first Champions League final. Nice. In the past, I would have walked all over the pitch shouting loudly.
“It’s not that I’m fixated on that final. We have other goals. The Coppa final, for example. I live from day to day these days.”

He touched on his relationship with the Inter fans and what that means for him.
“They know I give everything for the club. I feel like one of them. The first final I remember from my childhood is Inter’s against Lazio in Paris (in the UEFA Cup in 1998, ed.). Ronaldo scored then. You had at Inter Ronaldo, Adriano, …”

The 30-year-old reflected on his €113m move to Chelsea and return to the Nerazzurri a year later.
“I was comfortable at Chelsea last season. But I knew then that if things didn’t work out at Chelsea, I still had Inter. When I re-signed there, I knew: this is where I belong.
“At Anderlecht I had the same. I take this club seriously. I want to try so hard. The people here see that. Being encouraged here is the best thing there is.”

Finally, Lukaku spoke about Thibaut Courtois’ work in the Champions League final last year and if he could be as decisive for Inter.
“I remember sending Thibaut a message before the final. That he was already the best goalkeeper in the world for me before that match. Afterwards, no one could prove me wrong. He is the absolute number one. He is always decisive.

“Again: I’m not really fixating on that final. We’re playing the final. Chill. The goal is achieved. First, I want to finish in the top four in Serie A and win the cup. After that, ask me about the final again.”
So Inter was his backup and goal has been reached, he is chill now.

Guys, don`t expect Inter to win the UCL finals with this kind of mentality.

I just don't like his guts.

If those words are somewhat accurately translated. What the fuck is he talking about? He's still Chelsea player, they have a new coach, there's a legit chance he might have to stay there. What kind of an idiot talks like that in a situation where he's at?

He is so full of shit.
None of what he says can be trusted because he only speaks what he thinks people want to hear, there is 0 honesty.

But I knew then that if things didn’t work out at Chelsea, I still had Inter.
This is basically, leaving fat Margaret from the accounting department for the hot 21 year old intern who just joined, knowing that if it doesn't work out, you can just message Margaret and she'll happily spread her legs again.

Inter is the jackpot, not a consolation prize. We're not your sidechick.

No need to be so emotive about the situation. 12 months on, we still have Lukaku, and like 95mil in the bank because he went to chelsea.

Its as simple as... does he add value to the team?

Park the emotions, emotions just make you make irrational decisions.

Good thing we're not the decision-makers, then, eh?
Yeah, true, but still - throwing hate towards a player simply because of a reasomnable professional decision is a bit ridiculous, espeically when he's already undone it, effectively.

We walked away, as I said, with 95 mil in the bank and Lukaku still at Inter. It's some 200 IQ pro-Inter play, to be fair.

Don't get me wrong, 0 emotion toward him and the decision he makes, I personnally think that he is a clown in all his communication and I have 0 expectation from him, I am disappointed with Skriniar behavior, I would be disappointed if someone like Lautaro or Barella pulls that kind of move but Lukaku, no.
Simply I was commentating what he said because he is trying to call some emotional bond with Inter and the fans which I think is bullshit. In my opinion at least, everything is strictly transactionnal with Lukaku, the day he leaves, I just want another cog for the Inter machine, the same way as when he leaves he just wants another club where he can do his thing.

Emotion, passion, things like that are for the likes of Barella crying in the arms of Lautaro when we qualified for the UCL final. Not the guy who says 1000 times 'I' in a 2000 words interview lol.

The bad thing isn't Lukaku saw Inter as his guaranteed backup plan if his Chelsea move didn't work. The bad thing is he was right as Inter failed to replace him. If Inter had actually replaced him we wouldn't be having this discussion right now and he wouldn't have returned in the first place.

His heart wasn't in it at Chelsea? I thought Chelsea were his "boyhood club" or whatever the fuck it was that he said. Kinda strange how that fizzled out.
