Absolute unit tonight. Shame he had two goals disallowed, especially the last one which was great. The assists for both Lautaro's goals though, especially the second were amazing. Hopefully he plays like he did tonight more often.

He's actually a very good finisher in those one on ones. His goal against Torino was quite similar (to the disallowed one).

Love the way he used his strength for the first goal. His best game in an Inter shirt.

in some ways lukaku and lautaro remind me of adriano and oba, the big and small duo

now if only lautaro can learn how to do 20 backflips in a row

I'll just sit back and wait for the usual suspects to tell us why he's mediocre at best.

But I suspect they went to bed early.

While i was watching the game, i was thinking this is a rich-man-couple version of Adriano-Oba.

Probably because Lautaro is a much better finished than Martins

They are in brooding mood now and will probably take a hiatus from watching football altogether.

Don't worry, they'll be back as soon as Lukaku has ONE bad touch in our next game and shit on it constantly as if that is all that matters.

That assist to Lautaro was jizz inducing.

Commentators (usually the British ones) are always overly critical of his game . Not trying to say he doesn't have any flaws in his game but the numbers speak for themselves...

English commentators broadcast to an English-speaking, EPL-watching audience and usually relate their color commentary accordingly. i.e. making connections for PL fans to be more familiar. "Borja Valero.. Once had a spell at West Brom Albion 10 years ago.." etc. It can get tiring but it makes sense I guess. Your job as a commentator is to both cast the match, while educating listeners.

The points that commentators usually criticise about Lukaku are honestly quite fair - a slowness to react, poor touch, not being ready to receive a pass etc. I don't have a problem with the odd criticism tbh. I can't speak for others but I personally haven't heard too much denigrating of Lukaku from the streams that I've watched this season. And when I have, I've agreed with them anyway  see the juve match.

My problem is that they use the PL as a measuring stick for everything and with some commentators, it crosses the line to becoming flat out derision. See those spastics at ESPN.
