So after reading Inzaghi's comments, I think some of us were wrong to completely blame the Chinese on his sale. Sure to the owners that money is irresistible (I would've sold him too for that amount), but It's clear now that Lukaku has pushed for that move. Now I know that he could've easily stayed if he wanted to.

Now he takes a good part of blame for making us panic-buy at this stage with little money and players available around. He knows our circumstances and still pushed to leave at this time.

This dude is gone. I couldn't give a flying shit about him now.

He came for a big fee. He did his job. He helped us win the Scudetto. We sold him for a profit. Good business.

Time to move on. Just like how we moved on after Ronaldo, Vieri, Ibrahimovic, Eto'o, Milito, and Icardi left.

We have Dzeko now. He's old no doubt, but I trust he'll do fine enough for us.

I can accept Lukaku wanted the move. What I can’t accept is why we’re seemingly unwilling to invest even half of that money after having already met our +70 mil euro net gain from transfers

Maybe it’s because no market opportunities available at the moment? Lets be honest here, Vlahovic offers no guarantee and his asking price is absurd.

He's always been a diva with an inflated ego.

No idea why this forum held an ideal selfless personality of him as a player, but whatever worked for people.

Well, pretty much agree other than the diva part. He doesnt sound like a diva, instead I find him sound like a smart guy who offers great lip service.

He sounded fake to me right from the beginning, he kept praising the club and repeating how he loved it here. I mean even guys like Skriniar or Barella don’t talk about Inter that much. I didnt comment because I didnt care and I also hoped I was wrong.

Turned out I was right, he sounds exactly like those insurance salesmen, who appear nice, caring, good with words but you know what they are really after. Comparing him to politicians would be overestimating him though, politicians are usually much more subtle than this.

Still, I think you could go for Thuram (25), Insigne (15), and Nandez (25) in addition to the (12.5) we spent on Dumfries and you’re at 77.5 in transfer expenses for the main squad. I think with a team like this we would still be a very competitive side.

With the sales of Lukaku (115mil) and Hakimi (60 without bonus) we arrive at 175mil. The difference is, near as makes no difference, 100mil Euro. Not even tuttoshit were predicting we needed net gains like that at the beginning of the mercato.

Maybe we are planning to make some moves like this. But they mostly seem like this OR that type deals, not this AND that. Suning lie to us and are okay with doing so.

Pretty much.

The diva part basically covers:
- Exaggerating himself (self proclaimed king)

- Saying shit that's the complete opposite of what everyone else is witnessing (i guess this isn't directly a diva aspect, but i mean he says he does this and that on the pitch but he doesn't, among other things)

- Whining all the time and expecting all passes to lead to him. That's not just a diva aspect, that's primadonna status. Especially when he couldn't really talk the talk as much as he pretended.

Anyway, what's done is done. As tony said, good business, and he's gone now.
Let's also move on.

Thank you, brehme.

Now that both Lukaku & Conte are gone, you can enjoy being an Inter fan again, eh? 😉

Marotta is still here, he'll have posts ready to shit on Marotta every chance he gets, no worries.

I love Brehme, he is so stuck in his ways but somehow I appreciate that even more now that the world is changing so rapidly. The fact that a brehmesque post will be waiting every time I log on on this site is weirdly comforting, I'm glad I've grown enough to appreciate that.

No hard feelings, he brought us everything we could have wanted from him. More actually, because who would have thought beforehand that there would be a Scudetto next to a fat sack of cash. While here he showed EPL and some of us including myself how wrong we were about his potential, now I hope he can take his ultimate revenge on MU/EPL by winning that league as well. I suppose he also feels Chelsea will give him more CL chances. Wish him the best of luck-aku.

Fuck him, so.

I certainly won't miss his persistent whinging at other players when he'd messed up himself. Nor, his general behaviour of playing to the cameras.

Still, an awesome player for us, no doubt.
