I don't advocating for Lukaku. I'm just saying that he is less risky than Dybala. Dybala also could flop or get couple of injuries, which make him another Sensi for us. Then, all of the people that wanted him here will curse the person who gave him 4 years contract.
How is he less risky, not only do you have the risk that he just doesn't fit in the team but also while Dybala might be injury-prone, Lukaku gets fat and stops playing the moment things don't go his way tbh.

This was Lukaku at Inter still big but muscular and very athletic

This is him at Chelsea even looking at his face you can see that he's put on weight imo, he looks like my uncle hamidou who steals cake in the fridge every night.

I remember well Lukaku's stint at United. Essentially, Mou's type of a guy, big, physical and can hold up a play. He did well for a while, but his first touch was bad. He was getting a service from Miki, Young, Linguard even Darmian and a lot of times coud not not convert it. Not to mention his buddy, Pogba. United fans thought it was gonna be glory days again. Insted, freaking Fellaini would save a lot of end games with his headers.
For me it's 50/50 how Lukaku would do here again: But Losing free transfer in Dybala would be crazy.

For the last time. Lukaku is less risky, because he has already proved himself at Inter as top goalscorer. The pair Lukaku - Lautaro was great for us. He comes on loan and if he flops, we'll lose only 22 mln at most. He will come much more motivated, because he knows that this is his last chance to go back to the glory.
From other side, we gave Dybala, which 4 years contract will cost 44-56 mln at least. He is chased by injuries last years, and he wasn't a sure starter in jubentus too. Last season, he has scored 15 goals in all competitions, and some people praise him for that. Lukaku also scored 15 goals, and was described as a flop. It's not clear how Dybala will cooperate with Lautaro. There is a big chance for him to turn to another Sanchez as well - good overall player, but luxury due to many injuries and heavy salary. Also, absolutely impossible to get rid of, if he flops.

This sounds crazy to me. For ONE YEAR. Jesus.

There is no option so basically, next year we need another striker while we could sign our striker now and have him for the next years already.

Imo, no matter which player we are talking about, we should NOT accept any loan without option.

Di Marzio: Inter are ready to welcome Lukaku back to Milan. The Nerazzurri club is ever closer to finding an agreement with Chelsea for the return of the Belgian. The formula of the negotiation is a loan of 8 million, a figure higher than the last offer from Inter proposed to the Blues by 7 million, plus bonuses. Lukaku's lawyer, Sebastien Ledure, who followed the whole operation alongside Giuseppe Marotta, arrived in the morning.

He flopped, no point sugar coating his time there.
Rom at man utd had 42 goals and 13 assists in 96 games. That's a goal contribution every second game.
A goal every 168 minutes. A goal contribution every 129 minutes.
If those numbers are a failure then you have absurd expectations...

He failed at Chelsea nowhere else.

Fuck LuLa guys I won‘t enjoy having a forward line which scored 50 goals just two seasons ago with both guys getting nearer to their prime.

Deal seems done:

According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, Inter have now agreed terms with Chelsea to bring back Romelu Lukaku on loan for €8m plus bonuses and the paperwork is being drawn up.
The centre-forward only left under a year ago for €113m, but immediately expressed regret about the decision and said in December he wanted to return to San Siro.

It wasn’t expected to be quite so immediate, but Inter need to get the deal done by June 30 in order to continue to benefit from the tax breaks on his salary.

The bonuses are tied to the objectives of the club rather than the player, so will be activated if Inter win the Scudetto, Champions League or Europa League, up to €4-5m.
Yet another Marotta masterclass.

Zhang drove off smiling as well.

Is Marina still with chelsea? She was very tied to roman.
This question was asked back in May, she was still with Chel$ki. How about now? Is she still in charge?

What i fear is that he will never be the same here without Pintus.
+1
- He highly depends on the fitness levels and we no longer have Pintus to keep him in check.

I would be very surprised if he were to just "resume" his form from two seasons ago.
I think he needs the hands-on approach of our ex coaching team.

Time will tell if Inzaghi can use the whip or not, because he clearly needs it.

Pedulla said bonuses could be up to 4-5m€ if we win the Scudetto.

Because I'm greedy, I don't like the bonuses, too much given Lukaku is brought in to take back the Scduetto from Milan. This is nitpicking of course, the price is very good. We pay like he's 40-50m€ striker, but only for one year. Which is much better than 4-5 years for a player at that age.

Yes, this has been already reported in this thread. Are you naughty guys not reading before posting? :sneaky:

If the team wins proper trophy, club can afford to pay that extra - will activate the bonus from the sponsorship contracts.
