Also about that second year loan. I'm almost certain that will happen. Chelsea will want to include obligation to buy to that deal and we should categorically reject such proposals.

Bit of a rant incoming..

If you have the patience, or curiosity, which I unfortunately had, and go and read some of the comments from Chelsea and Premier League fans around de great web, you will end up scratching your heads. I'm not saying Lukaku is not at fault at flopping. If our record signing gave that interview, half of Milan would've been on fire, but constantly blaming only him and not at least discussing Tuchel's lack of will to change the style of play to suit him, again, their record signing, which is something Conte clearly proved it worked, is baffling. Also the constant, 'he flopped at ManU as well and he is not Premier League material and Serie A is a peasant's league rhetoric, is ridiculous and a broken record. First of all, everyone flops at ManU lately and second, the amount of money being spend by Premier League clubs is absolutely ridiculous. IMO Chelsea is mostly at fault for investing this much money, and then not doing, at least on the surface, anything to make it work.

I dream of drawing Chelsea in the UCL and tearing them a new one, just because of the feeling of supremacy EPL followers have.

Lukaku can handle the small games, not the big ones.

:awyeah:
Milan? Napoli? Those two were our scudetto challengers, I think he even scored a penalty against Juve.

He's not world class, but he is not 'scores against minnows only type of guy'

It gets worse when you consider that Lukaku has played most of his adult career in the EPL and was one of the youngest players to reach the hundred goal mark when playing for ManU.

But his two years in Seria A makes him some Italian product.

Not only that, but his stats at Man U are not that tragic, tbh. Some people who consider the EPL as the best league in the world fail to see the transfers and waste of money spent between the clubs within it. Remember Andy Carroll to Liverpool? Club record at the time if I'm not mistaken, right? Isn't he a flop as big as Lukaku? Not even gonna mention the likes of Maguire

Belgian lawyer Ledure has been dealing with the negotiations personally, replacing agent Federico Pastorello, whose contract expires on June 30.

So far, Ledure has been remarkably quiet, but he broke ranks to speak with Sportitalia in an exclusive interview this evening:
“A little more time and then there will be official confirmation” - Ledure
hope Inzaghi can improve Lukaku given his forward instincts.

The narrative that he flopped at man utd is silly. He scored every second game.

he flopped more in a... mental way? but that club is kinda cursed right now so I can't really blame Lukaku

but last season at Chelsea he really looked lost. It's like Tuchel isn't really playing to Lukaku's strengths, which is weird, because I rate Tuchel highly enough to believe he could make Lukaku work

Tuchel wants his players to adapt to his playing style, not the other way around.

You're trying too hard to frame his stats in a positive way. He also scored in every second game last season, and was also Chelsea's top scorer. So when the memory is still fresh and before the revisionism kicks in, can we just agree that he flopped last season?

If he did last year then he also flopped at MU. At the end of his time at MU, the club wanted him to fuck off, the fans wanted him to fuck off, he wanted to fuck off. If that's not flopping I dont know what is.

Being Chelsea's top goal scorer although he was on the bench for an extended period of time, and in the same time being labeled as a flop, doesn't speak good for Chelsea in general.
As far as remember his problems in United had started with Solakaer, who wanted different profile forward to lead the line.

Last I checked 15 goals in 44 chelsea games is closer to scoring once every 3 games...
