one of the best quarterfinals.. both play attacking football, fast football..

i think though that Javi shout start for Mexico, instead of Blanco, or even Dos Santos. Dos Santos is great player, but from what i've seen in these 3 games, he is too damn selfish, kills mexicos play, runes too many chances and dribbles too much.

as for the argies, we know who will start, more or less. Messi tevez and Higuain in the attack, Demichelis, samuel, Heinze and jonas in the defense, in the midfield i can say only veron and Mascherano, the trhird, few options. Although i think that DM will play Maxi "Crappy" Rodriguez.

This will be a great game. I'm not too convinced with Argentina tbh. I have a feeling Messi will get them through though.

SE SALTELLI....
argentinas defensive frailty will be put to the test in this one, it has to be the tie of the round. messi looks to be on fire though and as fitzy said, should be enough to bring it home for them.

Should be a cracker of a match really...Still unclear whether Vela will be fit which would certainly help El Tri...Albicelestes haven't been reaaaally tested, especially at the back, yet...So, Mexico could punish them on the counter..I hope Aguirre is smart and sits both Franco & Blanco.

At the same time, Aguirre's men haven't really been tested too much at the back either, they've been so lively on their counters that their pace alone has kept the opposition on their heels...I think their lack of midfield presence will hurt them against Argentina because they are a side that will lick their chops at the formation Aguirre has employed thus far...I expect Leo to be a big factor in that regard...Gonzo up top will get plenty of chances, I think

I feel for Mexico though, this is a tough draw although they're all pretty tough matches in this round

Seems like no Inter's player in Argentine line up, so i can freely shout, Kill 'em Mexico!

Vamos Mexico! Destroy the Argentine dreams. I want to see Maradona's face Lippi-ed.
Love to see that. Italy and england are out. Argentina is the only NT left that i want to fail. :D

Nah i hope Argentina won't fail today at least. A match against Germany would be great.

Tevez was miles offside. Great...

The linesman was the one that celebrated the equalizer of Fiorentina against Inter.

Better than John-Luke Buffoon. John Harkes is such trash. MLS coverage is too good for him.

What a scandal, arg don't deserves to lead the game, plus it was a clear offside. i guess fifa wants germany-argentina because of the ratings.

First goal was a gift from the linesman.
Second goal was a gift from the defender.

Damn, Argentina are so lucky...
