Italy, will need to play a lot better and be mentally stronger if they want to make it to the final.
They seemed like a side that relaxed after going 2 up tonight and they conceded exactly the type of goal these teams concede.

Funnily enough this forum should recognize winning ugly games like this are important.
Was expecting an ugly win, but this warrants a wake up call for Italy. And highlighting the weaknesses is part of the process.

What a fucking clown. I hope Bonucci get injured with all my heart so Bastoni will start. It's a joke that these guys even have the chance to start infront of him, quality difference is so big.

That was tough.
Italy lacked attacking quality despite Immobiles attempt out of fucking nowhere.
As some pointed out this game really showed weaknesses of the italian side if they don't score they at least have to have a clean sheet but they let Austria have chances yesterday that could have knocked them out. VAR saved their asses. Austrias game was similar to the one against Ukraine with many sharp balls between the lines. The game was carried by the working rate of SabitzerN Laimer and Schlager. Arnautovic sacrified his career in China. Despite the good headder he lacks Fitness.

Mancini said maybe the first knock out game is more difficult then the second.

I'm really interested how they will play against better teams even though we saw a very strong austrian side.
