Last time I was high on Russia and they faced Spain was 10 years ago. They lost 3-0 lol. That Russia team was great though, this one seems to lack character.

Spain should win here but it'd be interesting to see if Spain will fall victims or good hospitality once again

Completely agree I think Spain have been awful so far in every game including the Portugal one. Surprised they even made it out the group. Russia with home favours added on to it? Gotta give it to Russia. We know what should happen due to the comparative talents in both teams but I just have a feeling Russia has got this.

WTF are ppl smoking?
I mean spain was bad but so was russia.
They completely crumbled against the only good opponent they had in uruguay that game was decided after like 25 min when uruguay was 2:0 up.
Also the other victories of russia did not convince me at all I mean they beat Saudi and egypt comfortably but even there the scores looked better than the russians actually played.

Spain was bad but still has enough class that they should beat russia especially when i see how the russian defence looked at times. Only reason why i would give russia some chance to move on is cause they play at home and spain has been underperforming.

Even though I'm neutral to the vast majority of the teams at the World Cup, I keep finding players to hate. Rather, players whose way of playing I just find myself despising. For example, Perez and Meza from Argentina. Watching that fucking clod Sampaoli play those two losers game in, game out was just sickening - as were their performances. For Germany, I've never been impressed by Timo Werner.

In this Russia team, I've found myself really disliking Samedov since their pre-WC friendlies. Guy seems like an absolute fraud. Yuri Zhirkov was crap when he went to Chelsea 10 years ago and he's only gotten worse.

Pique has to be the most overrated defender in the history of football. He was never a great defender, he was just a good ball player which has suited Barca's playing style, but dude has always been a crap defender and is known for committing amateurish errors.
