I was so hyped going forward with the Azzurri, because I think that coaching in general can be a big advantage at national team level and thus came to the conclusion that Spaletti would be more than fine comparing to other coaches (excluding Nagelsmann obviously), but I seem to have forgotten our times with this man in charge.
Just going to show how perfectly aligned everything was at Napoli for him to take occasion of the opportunity somehow like Ranieri at Leicester. The football Italy display is a proper shit show, and the coach definitely has his part in it when playing someone like Cristante and Fagioli (him not being bad, but first game after long time in the round of 16… wow).
Btw respect to Switzerland as they seem very tactically disciplined and well organized. Some of their leading players like Sommer, Akanji, Schär and Xhaka are in their best form ever so may be a dark horse worth considering.
