I just saw Roma's GK performance vs Sassoulo, If he become our GK, I do believe we would have win vs Sampdoria. Simone should give chance to Radu in several matches.

Valuation is a good starting point, I thought it was a better approach than asking uou yo name 49 better goalkeepers tbh.
The subjective valuation website has Handanovic #169 Same level with Sirigu and Krul, as well as Chelsea's Bettinelli whoever that is, Provedel, Kalinic, Ivusic and Shunin.
We also have:
Ramsdale #41
Lafont #45
Kobel & Kepa joint #37
Strakosha #30
Lloris, Asenjo, Silvestri, Rajkovic joint #52
Mignolet #58
Radu (yes, our Radu), Armani, Neto, Sommer, Schmeichel joint #78
Mvogo #112 (who is at least on par with Onana)
Consigli, Olsen, Gazzanigga joint #142

I don't need to name 50 goalkeepers to discredit your terrible metric. Try finding a proper argument next time and stop sticking with ones that don't work.

Handanovic low because of age.

Why do you feel the need to be so rude to people all the time? All I'm saying is that the assettion that he isn't top 50 is quite a bold one - bu virtual of being the starting keeper for Ajax (until the ban?) He probably is top 50. I'm not claiming to have watched him but its like saying the starting RB for leicestwr is not top 50. He's definitely not top 10 but not top 50 is fairly bold

Not sure what you find rude there.

As for the Ajax GK being top 50 by default, isn't that a stretch? This isn't the 70s.

Your list has Emiliano Martinez in the top 10 and he plays in the PL, for their 11th side. So if we follow your logic, there should be around 10 GKs in that league alone at a similar standard. 3-5 top leagues with similar standards, plus South America + mid-tier leagues (Portugal, Belgium, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland etc) having at least 1-2 good GKs, you're pretty much entering a loop here where "barely top 50" is a possibility you cannot dismiss, especially given how Onana barely featured in the CL that much apart from one good run. The rest of his showing wasn't really impressive and he's struggled a lot actually.

There are times where Ajax did not qualify for a group stage and he was partly to blame. Properly, not the FIF Handa treatment. Sure, he was younger, but he only became a bigger name due to De Ligt and De Jong coming up.

I specified that I rate his reflexes highly, but that's something a lot of young good keepers have. He has bad positioning, is rather eccentric in going out of his box, makes silly mistakes as he tried to play with the ball a lot, but sometimes gets fancy and I don't like his aerial ability, nor his ability to dictate a defense in set pieces.
I've been watching him for 5 seasons now, sometimes from close up since he's played a lot over here. I was hoping he'd be a name for Inter and that's why I kept a closer look. But he's underwhelming when it comes to what Inter should have as a GK.

From anyone u25 out there I rate Donnarumma, Simon, Meret, Dragowski, Livakovic, Rajkovic, Kepa and Audero at the same level or higher. I reserve judgment for that Brighton guy who I sort of liked and I've no clue if there's any Brazilian starlets, given how Alisson and Ederson have popped up as top choices recently. Plus, I'm probably missing some Germans who always have top GKs.

And yeah, I wouldn't trade many of those over Handanovic this season. Maybe next season. Donnarumma and Simon are the two guys I'd want but they're impossible. So, hard pass on anyone else there, unless it's for a 2 year fix. Including Onana.

Brehme, you need to understand that your tone comes off as condescending sometimes. Your posts often read like a wrestler trying to smash someone's skull in with a chair.

Try finding a proper argument next time and stop sticking with ones that don't work.

Like this sentence, for instance. Completely unnecessary. It doesn't add any value to your point and sole purpose is to just make Browha feel bad.

Handa is a legend, but the club should've provided the squad with either a solid backup or someone who would have replaced Handa by now. If Radu is that keeper, then Simone should use him. (I doubt this).

Handa is finished as a gk for an ambitious outfit that we want to be.

From my perspective Handanovic will be fine this year. Maybe better goalkeeper would save 1 of 7 goals more than Handa.

But I have a question for Brehme:
Inter is playing from the back for some time. Goalkeeper is a big part of it. Why you suggest goalkeepers who suck at it ? (Cragno for example) From what I've seen Onana would be best suited for our buildup.

I didn't suggest anyone. I said that Handanovic is better and that those players mentioned are at the same or higher level than Onana.

Onana can pass, but he is disastrous with the ball at his feet under pressure. Not sure why people insist that he's great at that just because he can lay off the ball. He cannot kick the ball upfield, he has fancy ideas thinking he's an outfield player at times when dribbling, likes to be in an awkward position for a pass and I repeat, he is disastrous when put under pressure.

If we had Onana in the games vs Verona and Sampdoria with their pressing we would have conceded at least a dozen more chances by gifting possession which probably would translate in a couple of more goals.

We did this to Milito as well post 2011, one of all Time Inter absolute legends, Cambiasso’s incident comes to mind too, we cursed them and abused them like pedophils invading an elementary school. Inter fans are blood thirsty merciless ungrateful cunts who wouldn’t waste the chance to jump on any player if he fucks up or have a form declination.
Not arguing right or wrong but we wana be winning not baby sitting, if someone isn’t able to deliver as expected then it’s time to move on. Though it’s not Handa’s fault he’s staying as the management thought he’d still be able to deliver, it was a gamble and first signs shows that they weren’t lucky.
After all said and done, I still have hope that Handa might just pull another good year despite the bad start. A little boost of confidence in a big match might spark his self esteem once more just one last time before his final departure.
Lets hate on legends and wank for a 2 game player Sensi.

Have you watched any other goalkeeper in the last 20 years? Most of them concede a high number of goals without reacting because there's not much to react to.

Great attitude as always, brehme. Not even going to bother arguing with you, but if you think most GK's ofthe past 20 years wouldn't have reacted to that you are completely lost.

He actually had a good game today. Couldn't do anything to the goal, that's fucking ridiculous to suggest anything else. :D
