I find it criminal that Inter never decided to go to Australia for a friendly but ended up playing in the same regions all the time.

Australia generally gets zero love when it comes to summer football games. I'd reckon the weather is actually quite good during that period as well.

It is because Australia is so far away that it is not worth the time and exhaustion. To fly from Europe to Australia is time consuming and grueling.

I am not sure the fuss and trouble would be justify the return. The other issue is that European summer friendlies take place at the height of the Australian Rules Football season and would be nothing more than a sideshow.

Personally, I think summer friendlies are a wank. I do not like the idea of paying to watch a friendly. Having said that, I would definitely go to watch Inter on the eastern seaboard if they came to Australia.
