see guys mourinho rulles everyone now wants to play for us XD
Indeed, but how good is that? Don't forget that we have a team of champions, I agree that some of the guys are getting old and the team needs some new blood, but as always Inter is getting rumored to about everyone.

Until we have an official coach I have to see some rumors with very suspicious eyes, this Eto'o rumor is just one of those, I honestly do not believe he will join Inter next season.

However I think that options for attack have to start being considered because half of our striking force isn't growing any younger, however I'm sure that our staff as done some searching already but, in my opinion, Eto'o is just to expensive to buy (and to pay).

Not so good news regarding Eto'o

Eto'o attacked me, Cameroon journalist alleges
 • Reuters
 • Saturday May 31 2008
YAOUNDE, May 31 (Reuters) - A Cameroon journalist has alleged Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o assaulted and injured him during a fracas at a news conference on Friday.
Radio Siantou reporter Philippe Bonney told Reuters the Cameroon international had headbutted him in the face and said he would file a lawsuit against the striker. The fracas took place when Cameroonian journalists decided to walk out of a news conference ahead of Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde to protest at the team's refusal to grant interviews to local reporters.
"I cannot let this go unpunished," Bonney, who said he had suffered a facial injury, told Reuters.

Spokesmen for Eto'o and the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) were not immediately available for comment.
State radio, who also reported the allegations on Saturday, said that further incidents took place between journalists and other members of the Cameroon squad.

The journalists know that Mourinho is a respected man that many players would like to be coached by. They obviously create a lot of rumours because of this. With the costs of Mancini's exit and Mourinho's hiring there is no way we will buy many players this summer. I think we'll buy a maximum of four top players. There might be some back-ups coming along as well, but they will be cheaper.

There might be a small possibility in that. However what we don't want is trouble makers on/off the field! Now I'm not too sure about his off the pitch activities, but I certainly hope IF he is a target for us then this was a one off incident! ;)

WORD!

People here think Moratti will spend a gazillion euros to add to a team that is winning already.

We might sign 3-4 players, that includes 2 mids and a CB. I'm expecting Burdisso to leave. All the players will have to be bargains.

Its not about buying alot of players, its about buying the right players, something we havent to do in recent, or else our squad wouldnt be so ridiculous unbalanced.

But we do infact need alot of changes this summer, not only to give mourinho something to work with, but also alot are out of contract and some of mourinho favourites has to be sold as well, its the way it always works when new managers takes over...

Obviously Moratti has to satisfy Mourinho's demands to a certain extend, if Mourinho doesnt have the money to buy the players he want, he wont have anything to work with and nothing to build a squad with.

Please dont be as ignorant as last summer, and start with the "the squad is good enough" - BS again, because it obviously isnt so.

I see mourinho making 4 changes in the starting lineup, anything less than that is not realistic seen from the perspective of a new coach taking over and implenting his own ideas. We didnt sack Mancini and hire mourinho just for him to take over a sinking ship, we signed him so he can build a brand new boat.

On top of that we have alot of players who will leave, some because they are out of contract and some because they will be out of favour and even if Mourinho wants a smaller squad, he will still need backups.

Our squad does really not have the depth that is required at this level. We have seen how a few key injuries completely crippled our team this season. We cant make the same mistake as last season.

Offcourse our squad isnt good enough. We need an AM if we play 4-3-1-2. We need a central mid. We also need a good CB. I dont think Mourinho will change anything else.... it doesnt make sense.

If Inter buy 3 great players to be starters we are fine and done, those 3 who are now starters will then be bench players, have a squad of 16-17 players playing regularly is the perfect thing, you can also have 4 or 5 more like Rivas, Suazo or Jimenez to complete the squad.

Its not about buying alot of players, its about buying the right players, something we havent to do in recent, or else our squad wouldnt be so ridiculous unbalanced.

If you remember 1999-2003 then you should appreciate the transfers Inter has done in the last 3 years. Those Inter teams were much more unbalanced and crap ones wasting much more money than now.

Depth? what team in the world has depth then? if Inter have something, it's that.

Eto’o head-butts journalist
Sunday 1 June, 2008
Inter and Milan target Samuel Eto’o has reportedly head-butted a journalist while on international duty with Cameroon.

The incident happened at a Press conference in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundè.

Eto’o refused to answer questions at the conference to protest against his country’s football federation.

A journalist, Philippe Bony, however, repeatedly asked the Barcelona striker a series of questions, which provoked the 27-year-old’s wrath.

As the meeting ended, Eto’o allegedly went up to Bony, grabbed his neck and head-butted him.

“He hit me very hard on my upper lip. One of my teeth is loose,” said Bony, who also fractured his left hand in the scuffle.

Other players and staff associated with Cameroon quickly confiscated television cameras and mobile phones to stop the fight being broadcast.

The assault has been reported and it is as yet unknown whether Eto’o will be suspended for Cameroon’s World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.

Eto’o is rumoured to want a move away from Barcelona after falling out with some of the club’s players and management.

The former Mallorca attacker scored 16 goals in 18 appearances this year, despite suffering several injuries.

you guys dont just get it.

If Eto'o and/or Deco come to Inter, it will be for pittance. You need to understand how negotiation work for you to know why i am confident.

Deco: barca has already created an atmosphere that is unwelcoming for Deco. meaning, THEY MUST SELL HIM. They have asked him to talk with others, and as far as we know, he has already begun negotiation with Inter and others. As a result, whether barca like it or not, Deco has to leave. if inter buy Deco for more than 5 million Euros, inter is a very stupid club!!! for heavens sakes,t hey just bought Keita to replace him in central midfield. look at dos santos, look at how much tottenham has agreed to pay. small money!!! and the guy has more than 10 years to play in football.

As for Eto'o, the atmosphere in Barca has also been created to be unwelcoming to him. the Barca chiefs seem to want him out. He wants to leave - apparenlty begging for Inter all over the press. more so, the Fans have turned against him. Again, anything more than 15 million Euros shows the stupidity of Inter. barca HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO SELL!!! they have created a bad environment for themselves with the way they told the whole world that they were having a garage sale.

for heavens sakes, only an idiot goes to a garage sale and pay 500 euros for a chair!!! normal people pay 5 euros. its a garage sale for a reason. the owner is probably moving out of town and wants to GET RID (keyword) of the property.

Really???

i couldnt care less about Deco. Infact I am really hoping that he doesnt come to us.

look at how much tottenham has agreed to pay. small money!!! and the guy has more than 10 years to play in football.
Thats b/c he is absolutely nothing yet. He is no Messi, he is no Bojan. Getting him is risky, and there is absolutely no confirmation that he will become a good player. Also the amount hasnt been decided yet, but its gonna be round about 15-20mill Euros. Thats a lot of money, for a player who has shown so little.

Again, anything more than 15 million Euros shows the stupidity of Inter. barca HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO SELL!!! they have created a bad environment for themselves with the way they told the whole world that they were having a garage sale.
Eto is proven quality. I am not desperate for him, as we have too many forwards, but Eto is some one who makes things happen. Its a buyers market. Even if Barca are so desperate to sell him, there are like 10 diferent clubs waiting for him. Tottenham already made a bid of 35mill Euros (they couldnt agree personal terms for the players, but thats another story). Even if Barca want him out, he has way to many suitors, and in a bidding war, the biggest bidder wins, and if the commodity is as good as Eto, he will definetely go for more than 15mill Euros.

for heavens sakes, only an idiot goes to a garage sale and pay 500 euros for a chair!!! normal people pay 5 euros. its a garage sale for a reason. the owner is probably moving out of town and wants to GET RID (keyword) of the property.
I had a garage sale, and I decided to sell a bag of crap. I put a price of 50 bucks on it. I hated that bag of crap, it always made my room stink up. Everyone knew I hated that bag of crap, and I was gonna throw it anyways, if i dont sell it.
A girl comes to me, and tells me that she will only pay 5 bucks for that bag of crap, I tell her its for 50. She says, you are gonna throw it away for free, if no one buys it, how can you charge so much for it. She said she would come at the end of the sale and pay me 5 bucks for that bag of crap. She said she could afford to pay 50 for it, but given the circumstances, why should she pay 50? I said okay. The she leaves.
A new girl comes, and offers to pay me 20 bucks for that bag of crap, then another one comes and offers me 30, then a hot dimwitted English blonde, who had just gotten herself a new rich husband from Thaliand, she called him her sugar daddy, then offered me 40 for it.
I gave it to the hot English blonde girl for 40 bucks. I didnt matter for her, that she didnt know what to do with that bag of crap, or how that bag of crap would feel so out of place in her house. She just wanted the world to know, that she could get that bag of crap.
Then the original girl came back, she was the one who needed that bag of crap desperately, but she was being cheeky about it. Then she realised that, that bag of crap was gone, and she would never ever get it. She started crying and realised her mistake.

Now I hope you get my point.

spanish press talks about 60 millions for both, eto'o and deco, i find it ridiculous, the normal price is 35, 10-15 for deco and 20-25 for eto'o.
